Okay so now i understand why yall cuts drop nonstop. You rely on other people actually burying 6 inches deep, even if it is 6 inches down, theres still a great chance you hit a different line doing it like this. Although maybe a locator was used and we just didnt see it.
The bore shot was way too shallow. How do I know? I have underbored 100s of driveways and roads and have done grundy shots of up to 20 m (over 65 feet)
Cool video @TheMissleGuy.. I have a question.. have 3 pvc pipes going under my driveway.... I already know what station/zone is broken but how do know what pvc pipe to cut without physically seeing the cracked pipe under the driveway?
I have a 2008 GMC sierra 1500 dam thing does the same thing new battery no crank I changed a relay and it would start then same thing happened again a couple years later.
Man, I was dreading digging a small trench but what an awesome tool. I've got a garden bed edger that is a lot smaller but should do the exact same job no problem. I'll use that instead!
If one light burns out u mise well get both new ones no pointvto replace one you will be replacing the other within w months if you have the money swith it up to led or hid they lady way longer
I would definitely like to use one of those thinking about getting back in field but want to use machines. I learned some stuff watching your videos, give any advice?
@@Fred-yk8ryI truly appreciate that 💯🫡 Wish I can keep making more videos frequently, but i got into a better trade that will benefit for the long run. I can definitely give you advise and tips . I highly recommend using a Ditch witch 100sx
@TheMissileGuy. Nice, I bury over here in East texas, I'm 1 month into burying solo, I'm about to buy an L2 Lineward with tracks, do you think if I get one with wheels it'll get the job done faster?
@@TheMissileGuy.What trade is that? If u don't mind me asking, I'm in Houston tryna start somewhere, to provide for my family, looking in to cable again or anything trade that makes big money. And thanks for the help thats hard to get sometimes.
i would have been done in 5 minutes by my self. you guys suck.... get the right tool.... stick and poke at the same time bro. get a caprock shovel and sharpen it. then go spear chuckin with one hand.. use a poking tool to place the cable as you go with the other hand...trust me bro you are defineatley not the fastest. i make a thousand bucks a day doing this by myself.
Not if you are not pushing power in the drop. Only if the drop is pushing power through it does get mention in the NEC. Other than that drops are not mentioned in the NEC. Unless you have something that can tell me otherwise which if you do I would love to see it as I have done Aerial Mainline, Underground Mainline, and Drop work for years. Nothing service side without power was mentioned to my understanding.
