Not a serious musician. I purchased a synthesizer during the Covid lockdown to kill some time and learned to play a few songs from the golden age of synth music (80's/90's). Hope you enjoy!
Great, thank you for sharing! ❤ Is this song somehow unwanted by thais (no request for this at all on a live pop music cover channel I moderate 6 months, with 80% thai audience).
You can follow this tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FT6nQ5f5Tus.htmlsi=ILXWM2cEk6TKwS4X You can then save and store multiple performance banks and recall them at the press of a button.
Havent played keys in 20 years. Dug my synth out of the closet. And this is my first go at dialing it in. Thank you. Went to see Rick Wakemen a few weeks ago. Cried like a baby.
Thanks for watching! The right hand chord at 0:50 verse parts are 2 notes only (lower C# and the G#). I wasn’t able to use the upper C# since it’s the bell tone split. It looks like I’m pressing the C# but I’m not.
I had search something like this about like an hour. No flutes. Just Basses... But your synth sounded so good and made me happy. Keep it up with the good work!
I am trying to learn this song for my boyfriend on my piano. Could you do a slowed close up tutorial? I have the main parts down, I just need some extra help. If you could that would be much appreciated please and thanks!! This video is great though.
@@EricAdamsonMI Thank you so much. I ended up learning it all the way through the next day. My boyfriend plays the drums and I recorded him playing the drum part. I put both of our parts together, along with the extracted guitar part, and added us singing. We made our own subdivisions creation. It was very neat.
@@Willa.... That's so cool! I was in a Rush cover band, as a teen (1983), playing keyboards. We were blessed with a talented and dedicated drummer who idolized Neal Peart, and played his stuff quite masterfully. Peart was absolutely a drummer's drummer. Thanks for sharing! ❤️
@@EricAdamsonMI That's wonderful! One day I plan to meet Geddy. Neil was such a good drummer and his skills were impressive. Anyone who can copy him is gifted in my book. I wish RUSH would go on tour again.
Sounds awesome!! To perform this did you split the keyboard into thirds? When you spit the keyboard how do you set the octave for section of the keyboard? (if you did that on this song). Thanks!!
Thanks! In performance mode (to assign the splits), you can edit the patch of the desired split section by pressing the OCTAVE up/down button on the panel. You will then need to save the edited patch in a USER area. Your performance will then always use the edited patch you saved.
@@rsato1able Hello! Ok seeking some help here and I’m getting frustrated. I cannot get the arpeggiator to work in the pattern sequencer mode. The Arpeggio light is lit up but it simply will not work. Any ideas on how to get this functioning? I’m trying to do it with just one patch (Moogy Bass). I’ve saved it and everything. I even saved a performance with the split but the pattern sequencer will not find that performance. Thanks again!!
Ok I checked my setup and you have to manually turn on the arp when you do a recall. Once the arp is turned on, make sure that “Part” on the main arp screen is assigned to the corresponding Part number of your bass patch. In my case it’s “Part 1”.
