DDoS, Daily Dose of Sk4zZi0uS, the not so popular daily vlog of Sk4zZi0uS now has its own RU-vid channel.
The main channel was getting a little cluttered. A huge verity of content was being released on a daily basis so I figured I would be kind and reupload then entirety of DDoS onto its own channel.
DDoS Started on August 9th 2011 and continues to run to this day. (778 vlogs and counting)
Watched this to see if I could get Rocksmith run on linux, ideally without that weird expensive cable. I might just get the PS3 version as I don't tend to use the console atm, along with a cable to keep things simple, sigh...
The wife and I started watching it a while back. When she first popped it on the TV I didn't even click to there being a 2019 version. First thing I thought "I don't remember this being in 16:9". We're quite enjoying it. Inky is watching it along with the original so she can see what I had watched years ago. How are you finding it?
A while ago I picked up an Edifier W800BT due to a recommendation from one of my mates. The battery life is the main selling point, but audio quality appears to be on par with other headsets in that pricerange, I still need to look into a replacement for my ancient (1980s) studio headphones. Mine still work, but being decades old is starting to show. Yes the listening experience between on-ear and enclosed headphones is different, possibly as much difference as between cheapo crap from the arse end of the planet and mid-range gear from a well-known manufacturer. It is a case of getting used to them when you switch at first and when you switch back later on you'd notice the difference again, for obvious reasons. Speaking of tunage: New Fleshcrawl album (Into the Catacombs of Flesh) is due for release in a fortnight - yay \m/ 'Hmmm... tasty human feet NOMNOM' - Charlie (: Indestructible William not caring about Beardo's level of destructability (: If you - during a lapse of sense - decide to have children, be prepared to deal with chaos and love it (: W800BT has the controls (apart from the power/bind/play-pause button) on the back as well, I rather like the fact I can just use my right thumb to adjust the volume if need be. Ask anyone who still uses CRT screens regularly about how they feel about burn-in (: Just curious, is there any difference in sound quality when using wires as opposed to bluetooth? The W800BT seems to be doing ok, but I only use the wire option when the batteries are dead and I can't be arsed to charge them (:

Fluffy woofer needed to go in for a clean/tune up. His ears are still playing up since the ear infection and one of his teeth was rather grubby and he wouldn't let us clean it. He's had to be knocked out so we could actually help him. Hopefully from now on we will be able to get him comfortable with this kind of stuff... so he wont have to be knocked out every few months.
Funny you say that... I remember when the Razorback was announced, I wanted one so badly (back when I still actually played) but never got round to picking one up. Dean guitars have always been my favorites even if they're not built particularly well :D When I'm next aloud to spoil myself I think one may find its way into a shopping cart... I wont be able to play anything that fits the style BUT... just owning one and plinking away at the strings will make me happy. I also really want a Miku stomp box which I have no practical use for BUT it represents a friend and a conversation I fondly remember so even though its not really high use high need just owning it will again put a smile on my face.
DailyDoseOfSk4zZi0uS Miku, the ultimate party pedal :). I' tried it once, and the only downside IMO was tracking, but that was because the pedal cant track more than one note at a time so any unwanted ringing messes it up pretty easily. When playing single note lines with clean technic its great.
The tracking seems really bad on it but as you say... with single notes it really sings :P I figure it will be a good "when you're low and need a laugh" pedal. I mean I need to learn proper bending technique anyway so why not have a laugh while doing it. I've wanted one since my friend Divine showed one to me years ago but I couldn't see myself ever picking up the guitar again... fast forward a few years... the pedal is expensive as all hell and now I want to play :D if I had a pedal board... it would be on there all the time :D
For sure. I'm not to bothered playing around with any of my guitars... I mean if I wreck something which, lets be honest, is pretty hard to do on a guitar... I'm the one at a loss. I just didn't feel comfortable fiddling with Inkys guitar. The annoying thing is... I don't mind neck adjustments, restringing... even electrical stuff isn't a huge issue... pickup height is one I've never really gone for... may have to look into that at some point. With the kids now getting into twangy instruments... getting comfortable repairing this stuff is a must unless I want to hand over my wallet every few weeks :/
DailyDoseOfSk4zZi0uS pickups are straightforward to adjust by ear: if too high, you'll lose sustain because of magnetic pull. Set them too low , and you'll lose volume and tone. Electronics and soldering are the things i dont do. I've found the right pickups and eq-components for my tone, and all of that stuff i paid for.
Man this is disappointing on the network and RU-vid 🤯 Its RU-vid platform they should be able to override and take control over anything on there systems good luck man
I emailed them again yesterday as the network has gone silent on me... RU-vid has elevated the issue again to see if there is anything they can do. I mean obviously they should be able to do something as they own the platform... but for some reason at this point their hands are tied. Frustrating as all hell but nothing I can do about it :(

There are few reasons, why i've stayed away from networks. Something like this is one of them. Hopefully the trained monkeys get your mainchannel back.
Going to be honest... I'm not hopeful. There were issues like this back in the early days of the RU-vid partner program as well... where people would upload a series of videos as private content and RU-vid would go behind the creators back and then list them as public :/ not quite the same but still taking control out of the creators hands.
