Trucking companies are going to screw the driver until the driver quits. That's trucking 101. If you can work on your feet go to school and get certified to weld. It's more money and less BS.

Great vids Jack, great memories. At 74 I'm just this Sunday gone fully retired from driving a wagon. I was lucky enough to spend some time driving in the US and Canada. Wonderful way to see the states. Keep on trucking.
Hi Jack, following your comment about the Broadway Express rig you saw near Area 51 and your dislike of nighttime driving and by implication hauling for music or shows, I was lucky enough to drive for a '70s rock band Supertramp. I'm English and drove for them first round Europe for 3 weeks, then for three months crisscrossing the states in a semi. The perfect way to see America. Love your films.
Great videos with Jack. Today at age of 74 I'm finally fully retiring from truck driving. Passed my HGV Class 1 in 1973 and have been Trucking ever since. Driven all over UK, Europe, Middle East, also a stint in US and Canada. Really like your style man. Keep on Trucking.
Well I tried scrolling through the comments and found nothing but love so the question I have is can a driver with improper technique or aggressive driving be the root cause of repeated seal damage caused leaks

Hey there Jack ! Love your videos and taking me back to my trucking days. But I'd like to see more of the sleeper and what you do for fun or to relax in the truck. Lot of civilians are so curious about how we live in our rigs...especially the newer ones that have more than the ones I drove.
You'll get caught if you are a simpleton. But as a computer engineer I can guarantee I can make your ELD report say whatever I want it to say. Start by turning off the gyros in your phone/GPS, then you don't have to disconnect anything.
