What if you could build your dream life? Well, I'm on a mission to find out.
After losing it all--a house, a job, and a partner--at age 27, I was challenged to rebuild my life from scratch. Although not alone in this journey, it's been a huge source of growth in the past year and I'm continuing to build a rich, full life that I am in love with.
Determined to have it all, I'm documenting the personal finance and personal growth steps that I'm taking to truly live my best life and hopefully inspire you to do the same. Let's get it!
Going to tell you from experience, please go look stuff up before you do it. All the drywall on the ceiling is wrong. It WILL crack if you don't go staggard and perpendicular. You'll be painting and patching all those walls and the ceiling FOREVER, ever few months!
If you want it orange red ad a mild solution of sodium hydoxide (always use good eye protection when working with lye) and ad this after the tumeric bath on the cloth or u can even brush it on for stripes it cool to see the rapid color change too rinse the cloth wel after the lye so it does not damage it👍
My wife and I did laminate flooring throughout the house. She would lay the new panels on the last row installed while I banged them together. It made it much easier and faster. The space turned out nice. I see you used R-13 in the overhead, how is the thermal efficiency of the space? What are you doing for HVAC up there? What area of the country are you in? I am looking to finish our attic and have mulling over insulation and HVAC.
Looks great. Big improvement. One thing that I’d mention for anyone doing this, be careful with old linoleum flooring. It often has asbestos. Make sure you wear a good respirator.
Just GO OVER IT. It's safest. You'll NEVER have a respirator that can handle asbestos, plus, by tearing it up for no reason, you just threw tons of it into the whole house thru the HVAC system! BAD idea.
My adult daughter installed a Tushy on the downstairs toilet by her bedroom. Once I tried it I was sold on it. She recently moved out into an apartment, so I bought her a new Tushy so she would leave the old one here, and save disconnecting the water lines.
@@lytlspeeze Im doing my attic. I own the house. Im not getting permits for anything inside or backyard. I only get permits for stuff visible from road
I’ve been thinking of getting the toilet top style since I’ve used the bríndelo travel for years. The only problem: I can’t seem to use it as most reviewers advise, just rinse and dry. I must wash with soap too or I will feel dirty after a few uses without washing.
A great video and thanks for sharing the tips of meal prep, really enjoyed watching it and honestly when you are outdoors it helps a lot in focusing... lots of support to the channel from Belgium
hey girl I just found your channel and I love it I just thrifted some furniture pieces and would want to give them a little upgrade!😊 thanks for all the advice, new subscriber
Please take more time at the end to show the before and after . Especially the after . I would have liked to have seen the inside with the wallpaper . You did a good job and it was nice listening to you . You weren’t too chatty . Just show the end piece a bit better . ✌️
Thanks for sharing your experience! I've been studying on and off for a year, getting so overwhelmed with the amount of information. I have been using GBES to study, so I'm glad to see it paid off for you. Do you think the GBES practice tests were more intense than the actual Green Associate exam or do you think it was on par with the type of questions they ask?
