I think the house (s) are over priced for handyman jobs having bought a house in puerto plata and having to fix it up it’s become very difficult and expensive, I would think that it would cost 💲 7-8 million pesos to upgrade those houses to a comfortable living space, ….but thanks for the tour

Very nice, but a second bathroom is a must! At least for the price you’ll be paying. Who wants to bother with having to do construction to add a bathroom after the move unless it’s really a bargain.

The reality of global real estate in the last 4 years … supply / demand has driven prices higher (and increased construction costs by 20-30-% minimum here in DR). Great deals still exist … just have to be dedicated to discover … Patrick
I agree. I had a very large long term rental portfolio in Canada I exited in 2014 ish … the writing was on the wall at that point. Not being able to evict for non payment during the pandemic and other factors became issues … for me I switched my portfolio personally from long term to short term rentals for ease of rent collection and a very different market style of business.
