Ykw aside from the minor complaints with the outfit theyre easily fixable, like yeah the shirt could be annoying but its at least manageable and the BEST part about the pants is that you could wear black leggings instead. Back to the shirt you could always wear a black button up shirt and try replicating the design on it yknow- like if most the cosplay is good keep it and change the bad parts! Overall great video, great cosplay, your ruggie look is adorable.
I have worn this several times since this video and I just kept everything the same because they're definitely not bad lol! The buttons are fine except for when I'm in a rush to do a cosplay change at a convention and I'm very short on time! But thank you for the suggestions! And thank you also, I adore wearing Ruggie!! i know it stinks to spend money on something that doesnt end up the way u expected but at least its a good base to add detailing / work off of !! id say with a few adjustments it'd look great!
I actually spent a long time altering and fixing things on this, and he does look a lot better! I even added bits to make him anemo lol. It was just a lot of work and time on it 😔 But he looks so much better! One of my favorite genshin cosplays now!

The thing with Genshin impact cosplays is: they all, ALL (including dokidoki!!!) concentrate on producing the cosplay as fast as possible to stay up to date. Every hype, every release that is announced will be taken care of but they don’t think like cosplayers. „How to wear it?“ „how much should it be able to endure while wearing it?“ I‘ve always bought the cheapest ones since the very beginning to save money for fabrics and than started to refurbish the bought cosplay. The first one I actually did all by myself was shenhe. I didn’t enjoy a single version of any brand. So I got started with my (no jk) first selfmade cosplay ever. Being in the need to add push buttons, zippers, clips and even replace pieces with sturdier material is basically normal these days. Beyond years the cosplays were more easy. No weapons, gears, Armor or this much detail. Skirt, shirt, bow, socks and wig. That was it😅 Now look at Diluc or even Alhaitham 😵💫 not to mention all the elden ring costumes to come
It's a fairly smooth process actually! Since the recording of this video I have actually done 2 more bhiner orders with friends and it's going well! I understand why you would be nervous, but they're really good about communication!
Thank you so much!! 🥰 yeah the overall fit is just like a glove! It's just the neck area that doesn't fit because my neck is a little bigger and most things that go there on cosplay never seem to fit 😂

@@Scarlyxd as I said, cosplays don't ever come with wig caps! 😊 The Hu Tao wig I ordered came with one because wigs are the ones that normally come with caps like 9/10 times lol
The fabric is really light and breathable! I wore it at a Florida con which Florida weather is usually very warm and sunny! I'm not sure how much that helps but I had no problem with it!
Hi, crazy question. I got the Jinx Cosplay by Miccostumes. I have to wear it Saturday and next Monday. But I can’t figure out how to get the belt to attach to the belts hanging on the back of the pants.
I think (think) I fed the longer piece of the belts through the belts on the pants but I can't say for certainly right now! I'm at a con right now not with Jinx so I can't look it up! I won't be home in time to look it up before you wear her 😔

yeah I like overall how a lot of it looks so I'm sad how low quality some of it actually is! I sewed it back together and basically replaced all the safety pins on this outfit with sewing small stitches to keep a lot in place. Watching me slowly descend to madness as more breaks off me is an experience lol.

There was only one Thoma cosplay on rolecosplay when I purchased mine but according to my email when I purchased it mine was 100 dollars! So my guess is maybe it was the cheaper one you were talking about lol.
If you feel comortable would you be able to provide your measurments in the next video to understand howth siszing really fits? Miccostumes measurements can be so wishy washy depending on the material.
