We have a pet squirrel that lives in our house with us and as I work at home she is stuck to me like glue all day long. Beautiful little creatures and very loving.
I sat down on a bumble bee In Mrs. Jackson’s yard I sat down on a bumble bee The bee stung good and hard. I sat down on a bumble bee For just the briefest spell And I had only muslin on As any one could tell. The author's name was N. Crane. You'll have to look it up to finish reading it.
Great video and thank you for introducing me to a new bird. I live in the Pacific Northwest so this bird is new to me. I probably have a few you haven't seen either. 😄
Whenever you see a little bird like the Parala, remember that our Creator values you as an individual because you too "are worth more that 😅 many sparrows/Parala" 3:34
@@NaturallyCourtneyChannel Do you do anything special to attract the different birds? I haven’t seen a vast variety of birds at the cabin and it’s in the woods! 😞
We have a variety of foods in different feeders, as some birds have preferences for certain feeders. Some of my favorite bird feeders are listed in the descriptions of the longer bird videos on my channel. We also have a bird bath and planted things to attract butterflies specifically, but some birds like them as well. The northern parula does not typically visit feeders however; I usually see them in trees. They are very bold birds and aren’t afraid of humans. I heard the one in this video singing in a tree above me, and before I knew it, it flew down and landed on a gardenia bush inches from me! I’ve had several similar encounters with parulas, which is how I was able to get the close ups in this video using just my iPhone!😁
I heard a woodpecker on a tree outside the house one day. The weather was perfect and the windows were open. I thought that there was someone knocking at the door! Sigh. Just a woodpecker. In another area of science, there have been studies on brain concussion and the woodpecker. How does the bird hit with such force and not have brain damage? Momma dropped me on my head as a baby, so I was defective early on! Hahaha!😮
Lol well thankfully you seem to be doing just fine.😄 Yes, it’s amazing how woodpeckers are able to do that with no damage to themselves! I actually included a bit of information on that in my long-form woodpecker fun facts video from a couple of months ago.
The most remarkable thing about squirrels is no poop! We've had squirrel feeders set up on our deck for the last 5 years, and as of today, I've never seen any sign of squirrel poop. In that respect, they are the perfect animal.
😄 Really enjoyed meeting Beau, Sammie and Sandy, it was great seeing my main man Squeaky again. It's amazing how much of Jehovah's creation you can appreciate just in your own backyard. 😄😄
Got around 6-7 these regular visitors in my yard, and they will now come out when they heard my voice, and know that they get nuts from me. Too bad they still won't let me pet them yet...😢
Liked this video! The cranes looked like they're wearing Kangols!! 😂 Great video, the two cranes "talking" to each other remind me of a certain couple!! 😅😅
He says, "I eat my grub worms without sauce, and the ants with salt & pepper." He is welcome to all of the bugs. I don't have a greedy bone in my body.
