Warning...don't buy from consignment...the cars just sit unmaintained, causing problems for the next owner...they promised to check the car out and change the fluids....it never happened. Come to find out...the Gas sat in tank for yrs and the water separated from the gas causing the tank to rust on the inside. Car wouldn't stay running...yeah go figure. Its best to show up in person, to personally inspect the vehiclle. due to no one being able to be trusted fully. The car has been parked longer than being driven. Now the summer is nearly over
I owned a 1946 TC. Mine was a full blown race car.. Bought in 1965 for $800. Way over bored and sleeved, Custom rods, pistons, everything balanced, lightened flywheel, hot cam, custom exhaust, exhaust manifold, 1 3/4 SUs, cross flow head. Steering box upgraded, custom shocks etc, Borani 15" wire wheels (yes 15 inch not the wobbly 19s) Custom roll bar and so on. Streeterized to enjoy blowing off Porsches and other "sports cars". Wish I had not sold it , but it went away so I could buy my 1959/60 Fairthorpe Electron Climax. Your car, very nice except.. the hideous, unnecessary hood/bonnet louvers. Hope it had the Thomson Kit steering.
