“Old 6 Quart” nicknamed that in the 1970’s when our family was on an Arizona desert adventure with a group of friends. The old Willys needed to borrow oil from just about every other vehicle on the trip (about 6 Quarts) and thus the name was placed on the old Jeep. The 1951 Willys M38 was originally stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington State. Our family purchased it for $500 in March of 1972. This old Jeep has been a big part of our family from being my brother and my first vehicle in high school. Taking us hunting, gold panning and just exploring the back roads of Arizona to being the vehicle my wife and I drove away on our wedding day in. We hope to continue adding to the story of this old Jeep.
I don’t do stuff like this, I am into cars though, why he slow down, Surely he should have kept going and would have been fine ?? Or a little bit faster on the way in and still keep going don’t stop
