Hi Scott! I have been following you for awhile and absolutely love your work and content. I will be joining your 100K course soon, but I have some content questions for you in the meantime: 1. What is the difference between meditation and hypnosis? 2. What is the difference between your ACH technique and talk therapy? I appreciate your work and always look forward to new videos (I have watched (and re-watched) basically everything on your channel... shamelessly)!
I kind of feel like saying the their name so many times feels kind of contrived forced or even slightly manipulative it’s unnatural feeling to me a few times is fine to anchor them in feeling personalized but too many times is giving pushy to me so is there a reason why you say there name 10 times?
Please do more of these, especially the ones when his tongue stopped working cuz they're hard for audience to understand so that would be a bonus really add value to RU-vid. It would also be nice if someone could explain what's the deal with involuntary putting the hand up during trance? When you say to watch how the patient has her active arm switched during trance, this made me wonder: Did Dr Erickson use the hand to symbolise the issue the client came to see him for? It otherwise seems weird to get someone to raise their arm keeping it mid-air, as if stage hypnosis used for entertainment. Other Q is, say the patient is someone not plagued by dysfunctional behaviours but wanted to improve life experience in some way or other, did Dr Erickson still use the active arm approach? Would be great if you were able to find examples. Not sure if you have statistics of your own to share on all these treatments
I can't visualise when I close my eyes I see only darkness and black if I try to visualise an Apple I don't see anything but I can recall memory of Apple but can't see image clearly that's why I can't do hypnosis or neural linguistic programming I can't change I failed please help me with some other techniques thank 😢
If i may please make a suggestion for the suggestion box. You have a unique type of therapy yet you dont do it anymore. and no one really knows how to get one your students to work with them. If you could make a list somewhere of your students who are getting good results so that we can go to them for therapy or suggest them to our friends and family. cause your therapy looks like it will actually solve the issues instead of multiple sessions with no real result at the end. food for thought thanks
nice one! I followed the ACH training and now also MACH. I combine ACH with EMDR, works well together althought It would perhaps be possible to leave the EMDR intervention out. Don’t feel comfident enough YET to do so! 😉Or is not supposed to? I mean you would take a client out of trance with an Ab-reaction, I would do EMDR in stead and I have good results with this. What I learned from this specific video🙏: (why to) not planning follow up sessions nor homework! Although I believe “meditating at home” without a specific goal just to train awareness and presence can never hurt a process. Does it? I also learned that visible trance in client is not nessecary for the therapy to work! but if the testing fails and we cannot find clear “knots” then what? my sessions are max 2hour, client and myself get tired in one point 🤔
remember smaug in the hobbit. i'd like to see a remake of the dicussion inside the mountain. bilbo goes in talks the dragon then leaves then when asked if he found the arken stone he says arken stone? oh i didnt get it i've never heard anyone talk like that before. so he keeps trying and keeps coming back out forgetting why he was even in there. "Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon." revelation 13:11
What if the client doesn't want to talk. What if the client is not present in front of you? The only mode of communication you have is Email. How will you hypnotise such type of clients. (I am asking this question because most of the clients are this type. They avoid therapy at all cost.)
5 months ago today I performed a hypnotic meditation to end my addiction to sugar. I don't remember what happened during the session, but I haven't touched sugar in 5 months and I'm disgusted by the thought of eating sugar in any form.
Awesome Scott! Another piece of supporting evidence that shows just how powerful, and easy, ACH/MACH really is. And there was something else I was going to say… hmmm, can’t quite recall at the moment… 😊
what i find fascinating is that i studied igor ledowchoski and did some training with him. but his highest level his most advanced stuff he couldnt seem to put into words. his highest level is your baseline entry point. and you explain things so simply its amazing
Fantasizing that you're doing so much when actually you're doing fuck-all. Scott! Always great to hear you swear. I was also laughing hard in this video!
@@conversationalhypnosis ....Sorry. I realized that only after I sent the comment. But I JUST saw this video suggested in my feed TODAY. 🥰 Gotta love "evergreen" content! 😉 ...Thanks Scott
