It definitely helps as if he has cosmic passive, he gains increase attack as well as the mutant passive giving him prowess. It certainly helps but i not necessary.
Wasn’t sure what to expect clicking on this but she actually seems like quite solid counter to him, totally forgot she could control evade like, love to see older characters have new utility pop up years later like this

Neat stuff. I like how you timed the 2nd SP1 Cauterize Buff to stick just when the first one dropped off, so you wouldn't get the bug that had the 2 SP1 Buffs cancel each other out. What are the pros/cons/tradeoffs of stacking the Buff vs. building up bleeds for each before activating the buff? I also like how you used the Evade to set up the opening for the SP2. Kinda like Ghost, and how she uses evade to bait and create openings. I've been messing around with how to use the Evade for things like that. Like a point blank Heavy to bait their attack, then respond with an SP. Have you worked out what things you can do from the Evade? I know Ultron can interrupt it with an SP. What about performing other moves during the auto-evade duration of the buff?: M, L, dex, etc. Also, What about performing other moves as the auto-evade duration of the buff is ending?: M, L, dex, block, etc.
@@-TroyStory- Sure thing. Happy to see you digging in, and exploring and teaching the updated Champion. And I feel youtube comments is the best place to have discussions on the game (forums is locked down; reddit is a toxic and shallow format; etc.). hahaha, yeah, seems Ultron has a lot of bugs. Will be interesting to see what bugs stay as permanent. I've done some more testing on the Auto-Parry. For testing Ultron "normals" (non-SP attacks) and other non-SP moves during the Auto-Parry, I recommend using synergy CAIW+Vision (drains their excess power bar), and synergy Mister Sinister (power locks them for 6 seconds after their SP; also useful to combo/Heavy the opponent after a special to push them back away from your wall, without them getting power). This will keep the opponent power low, so you can test more on evading normals. From my testing, you can kinda use Ultron as a "7 second Ghost". You can use the 1.5 Auto-Evade to bait missed attacks, and then time counter-attacks to punish those the move stun gaps on those attacks. Ultron can perform the following during the duration of his Auto-Evade, after an Evade has been activated and resolved: Light, Medium, Dash Back (non-Dex), SP. I couldn't perform a block well after an Evade while still under the Auto-Evade buff. I was unable to tell if I could activate a Heavy. I was unable to tell if I could activate a Dash Back Dex.
@@kittensmakingcandles Very interesting! I'm finally circling back around to testing him more. I'll try these. Also, hoping to see some of his bugs posted in the "known bugs" notes for 32.0 due out here soon. We shall see.
@@-TroyStory- Look forward to your testing. It's tough because the bugs means whatever you test could or will change. I noticed Ultron seems able to Intercept Rhino without getting affected by the Rhino Unstoppable on Dash attack.
Great catches TP. I also notice that if I do two SP1 back to back, then the Cauterize will stack, and then both drop off before the timer expires. Also, I really would like them to add some visual cue for that 5th hit Function: Critical. Once I lose track of which is my 5th hit during the fight (which happens at some point), then I have no idea which attack is his 5th. One Crit looks like any other. Same problem for that 3rd hit Function: Damage and the 4th block Function: Armor. If there were a countdown icon for each, then it would really boost the ability to play him with precision in timing each Function.
