Hey man just got randomly recommended your channel and loving it. Always loved the dynavap engineering but this is next level stuff, got some friends who love their dynavap who I bet would be keen on this or even just the tip (lol). Really want to get in on some pre-sale or email list action but your website is down :( Tried with a vpn but it's not just me!
Heyo! Website is back :) Had some issues, all fixed now! Thanks for the love, also! I'm sourcing an array of vendor who can supply the ruby part for this dynavap project, currently. Making sure all the prices will actually make sense. Machining ruby is very time consuming and you need to use diamond tooling.... hahaha, pretty cool!
@@dismafuggerhere2753 It is attached to the lid/cap of the handle, the poker threads into it so you'll essentially unscrew the handle "lid" and the poker will be attached
@@VerdaVap I also thought the same thing, I edited it out of my comment once I realized but if you just look at it quickly it looks like a separate piece at first. I love the design though the more I look at it!
I laughed so hard cause I was also wondering "who's we?" and then you said it was just you 😂 I love the improvements. A lot of the issues are so hard to find until you have people testing stuff out. I've had issues with terp pearls getting stuck in other devices when I overfill, but before then I'd have never thought about that being an issue at all.
@@plumokin5535 lmao, I was like why do I keep saying we? I guess the we is myself and Jill, but she's handling the emailing and logistics side of things whereas I'm doing design and whatnot.
@@VerdaVap ohh ok, that's not bad then. I had to look up who Jill was but it's so cool that you and your girlfriend are working together! Life goals! I'm so happy for you, especially now that you have the ability to work on this full time as something you really enjoy. I love this community
@@anonymous_b0t Yeah there are a few mods that have to be done to the cad file before I can get some prototypes made up. For instance, the current spot where the mouthpiece attaches is too low and you'd end up getting water splashes into the airway. There are some challenges to making a nice usable small bubbler, but I'll figure it out when I get some more time to throw at it. I just want something small and palmable that won't break.
TableTop Bong just gave you a shout-out! Happy to have discovered your channel through him! I've never heard of your product until today, but I'm loving everything I see on it
Wow! I only discovered these a week ago. Went to website and I didn't realise stock so low. Happy for you, Aussie company, another I will support, when run 2 opens up. So good to see Aussies making world-class equipment. I better act fast next time 😂 I had a cart set up but didn't checkout. Foolish me!
I'm getting a batch of prototypes made up soon! Jump in the discord if you want to keep up to date with progress. Discord link should be on the VerdaVap website at the bottom
Thanks so much mate, it means the world! I got the notification of stripe earlier and did the happy dance 😁 I've already got 4 other projects in the pipeline. Getting prototypes of a DynaVap convention cap project made up currently!
We never really had 1 single unit actually designed for IH and ready to take full advantage of it. Zero, since at least the Loto Labs failure of 2014... A sad 10th anniversary!
@@VerdaVap According to my old 'Semi DiY Challenge(s)' Google Photos album i've actually waited since at least March 28, 2019! This even includes a few IH-related illustrations inviting further reflexion, for example over getting a uniform/predictible user experience thanks to this universal law of dame Nature linking energy to mass, temperature change and material-specific heat capacity: Q = m∙𝚫T∙Cp Heat, lost or gained (Q); Mass (m); Temperature (𝚫T); Specific Heat Capacity (Cp) The 'Specific Heat' formula had inspired a preliminary post (2018-Apr-25), followed (2018-Aug-18) by characteristics of VaporGenie's "filter" refurbished from a Classic/Bronze Sherlock pipe. That ain't no ordinary "health stone", it has a "tetrakaidecahedron" shape and 'ERG Materials & Aerospace Corp.' once anounced their 60 ppi 7.76 mm X 13.66 mm (dia.) « Duocel » pellet to have 5.28 W/m∙°C (@ 250 °C) "Bulk Thermal Conductivity" (with a twist: airflow!)... So, instead of suggesting to turn such foamy material into a « susceptor » (at the cost of serious involvement) i figured induction could still provide temporary storage of quantified heat while burning-hot metal contact-surface also gets rationalized, to please purist$: wrap IH metal ribon around an SiC puck then shield it to protect finger skin! Burst mode will simplify materials selection a great deal as it takes only 100 ~ 200 Joules delivered in a few seconds at most.
Looks good I ordered a light 1 less so for the color more just because it's an aussie gum so I'm happy either way 🤙 can't wait not long now I can feel it
