I used to go into Leeds a lot back in 2015. Loved it back then. The vibe has completely changed now and not in a good way. It's the same with all towns and cities since the virus though. It's hollowed everything out and made people bitter and judgmental towards one another. Rarely do you see smiles now. Mostly scowls.
Nope that's just the UK in general. Not the warmest, friendliest people in the world, unless they're pissed! Then they love anyone. But for me, I wouldn't live anywhere else.
Remember Kelner at Radio Hallam, in the late 70s early 80s - he was a very good listen and had a cult following. I'm not 100%, but I think he then moved onto BBC Radio Sheffield
Seems like I have to mount my swiss-arca plate sideways on my camera to make this work. Sideways compared to how I normally mount it, anyway. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to slide the camera/lens along the final rail there.
Very nice video !!!! This is the most simple and the easiest way I have seen yet. "Thank you very much and take care", Jim, Charlotte, NC. PS I have just ordered the Nodal Ninja Ultimate M1-L with RD 16 11 Rotator Panoramic Head from B&H Photo in NYC. It should be here Friday 15,2020. Today is Wed. 13, 2020. I can wait to check it out !!!!!
I watched a lot of videos. I couldn't understand anything. In a very short time, I learned to find the nodal point in a wonderful way thanks to your video. thank you so much.
it seems the town planners of the 50's & 60's suffered from some kind of brain wasting disease which the inner loop designers clearly inherited in abundance. Leeds is a mess.
In 3:30, you efficiently explained what it took someone else about 20 minutes to do in another video. I will note that he added a bit of refinement regarding spacing of camera and alignment "poles" re: distance, and differentiation of poles. In your case, it is easy to differentiate the top of the back stand from the front stand.
Great video! I have shared your video on DiziVizi by tagging it to City Centre Loop Help people to find your videos and channel. The committee of idiots who thought this was a good idea should have all been sacked on the spot. They probably wish they could knock all the buildings down and have the worlds widest fekn road.
I hate driving in Leeds. That Sheepscar junction. Trying to park at Leeds General Infirmary. Which absolute genius decided to put the loop in. Why are they not the greatest people Leeds has ever produced. Try to avoid Leeds as much as possible.
Bought NN3, and received it yesterday. Was struggling to do the initial setup and them came across this video. Very nice and precise. One question : How much distance should we keep between the two rods to align the vertical lines ?
Hi UmanG Narendra Samani The two rods are just as a demonstration, you could use 2 lamp posts in the street, a door frame and a window, or any combination of 2 verticals. As a good test you can set up with one item close and one in the distance, and then check again with something in the middle distance etc.
I know im randomly asking but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost the password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Chaim Uriah I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
