in general, in these disagreement affaires you can choose whatever opinion you want, this is a core rule in Islam. I asked al-azhar and they told me that there is a disagreement and you can pick whatever opinion suits you. So i hope when talking about these affaires you do point out that there is a disagreement and not that this is the only way to do things or this is the right opinion. In these affaires there is no wrong or right both are in doubt and this situation won't get solved until the judgement day so take it easy and let's be nice to each other :)
Background music is haram. Why? Here's why - People listen to music, so that they can excel at something they are doing. When you are doing something and at the same time listening to music, you start to do it better. When you listen to music and exercise, you can find more strength and stamina and drive to do it better. In case of studying, it helps you focus on the study harder. Same goes for watching a video with "Background Music" , where you can focus more to the contents of that video. So basically, what music does is let you focus on any given task. It acts as a repellent to any distraction via blocking other sounds and being in itself the less harmful distraction. You may ask, if it is so helpful, then why is it haram? Well, let me ask you, why not use cigarettes, cocaine or any sort of enhancing drugs? It performs the exact same. The reason is they have harmful long term and sometimes short term side effects. In case of music, it can make focusing harder without it. It can make you hate natural or surrounding sounds. It can trigger your brain to have certain emotions. So eventually you will be unable to focus and go by without it. A symptom of music addiction is music going on your head automatically and randomly singing songs on your own. only 1-2 years ago I could not imagine my life without music. Now im cool with it. Sometimes i miss it (maybe because it has not been a lot since I quitted hearing it), but I know I can do better. Indeed, before I went for a music whenever I felt bad. Now I am reciting the Surah that I am learning whenever feeling sad. However, I have a problem. I have been playing for 10 years. While I am playing piano less than I used to, still it seems very difficult for me to stop it at all. But I believe I can do it! In Sha Allah, I will be able to. At the end of the day, this world is temporary. I pray asking Allah SWT to make my Iman stronger. What kind of muslim will I be if I cant get rid of this little thing. I pray for you all brothers and sisters. May Allah make out Iman stronger and getting rid of haram habits easier.
1 question tho what if the music has no lyrics? like it isn't the lyricless version i am talking about like the music just straight up has no lyrics then would it still be haram?
If you don't believe it, forget about it being haram or not for now. Just stop listening to music voluntarily for an entire week and witness with your own ears and eyes the difference. Thank me later
Music alter feeling, but in a better view, music minipulate emotions. since i've switched to listening to quran. i get a massive headace when i hear music
I was a big fan of musics. Used to listen to them all the time. Then in the starting of 2022 (or maybe late 2021) I learnt this. Then I was like "why? it makes me feel good" etc etc. So one day, I just stopped it. FOREVER. Till now, I have been living without them. Often I see my friends or relatives sharing this in their social media. And these musics, songs are extremely disgusting to me right now. I don't know how people happily listen to these. May Allah give Hedayah to everyone.
i dont listen to music myself from recently but bcz i used to listen a lot before. that's why i am always humming or singing also bcz of social media too
@@Objectsandloresforever good question. any musical instrument is haram. if the bgm contains instumental noise then its haram. if its some noise made by human voice only its okay. (like bgm in naseeds) hope it helps....<3

Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper." (QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 120) We acknowledge that the Bible has some truth in it but it has been changed by humans overtime Meanwhile we accept Jesus as our prophet and not a god. Even if you try to say that Jesus is your god and our god. We have more knowledge of your god which he was never crucified.. as think of this, if Jesus already died for our sins, why should we repent even if he died years ago? Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: وَوَصّٰى بِهَاۤ اِبْرٰهٖمُ بَنِيْهِ وَ يَعْقُوْبُ ۗ يٰبَنِيَّ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اصْطَفٰى لَـكُمُ الدِّيْنَ فَلَا تَمُوْتُنَّ اِلَّا وَاَ نْـتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ ۗ "And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], "O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims."" (QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 132)
😂 Read about those 3 holy book. Each of them predicted the last prophet (pbuh). The problem is you don’t want to read, bcz if you read, you’ll know the truth. The truth is always bitter.

Because if you did you would understand that the quaran isn't the truth. Don't just read one book and assume that the others are false.

John 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time, the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.
