Hi Lucy totally different from Benidorm but beautiful in a different kind of way .Guadamar is a favorite of mine . Van pricy enough and loved your dogs still Lucy the whole family desperately missing our dog and always will a beautiful Cocker Spaniel. Called Teddy. All the best to both of you. David
A'reyt Lucy. I finally took a look at this channel. What a great trip. My girlfriend and I looked at renting a camper at the Yorkshire Show, but having stayed near Benidorm with folk with a seven seater, I bought one. I used it for trips to Cornwall with the dogs, but just rented a caravan or bungalow on a site down there, which worked out cheaper and safer with two dogs. We never did drive down to Spain as planned though. Your videos kept us going through lockdown and we just had a trip with the next generation of dogs back to Cornwall, just in a roomy car, with cages for dog safety. Their first time in the sea. Your two are similarly size and so well behaved. I would have to share that ham.
Thanks for checking out the channel Alan.. 😀 Hulk and Bertie are good boys, but they have their moments haha and they'll do anything for a bit of ham 😆
@@LucyYoungTBE I was imagining you doing videos like "Endless Adventure". They have been touring bits of US I toured on Greyhound years back. First time I came to Benidorm to meet my girlfriend was with my rucksack from that trip as hand luggage. Everyone was like "Where's your case?"
@alansmithee8831 Once we get our own van we can delve more into some adventurous trips. At the mo, we're just testing out as many as we can we short trips to see whats right for us before we take the plunge and buy. It's an expensive mistake if you don't get it right. There's so many places I want to go in Spain, loads of fab off the radar kind of places and some quite scary places like Canada real. It will be an eye opening channel eventually. I'll probably change the name too im not keen on where to next but it kinda fits what we're doing right now
@@LucyYoungTBEOut in the woods in Ontario we came across a massive bear. Our Canadian host said she had them on the family farm all the time as a kid and just started taking photos. The van we went to Cuidad Juárez in broke down on the way back through the desert in Texas. We hired cars for the next trip, but our host warned us of deer, saying they were not small British Bambi and would come through the windscreen like a bull if hit. Hiring a van seems sensible. Endless Adventure did in England. In US they restored one to save costs and provide video content during lockdown.
Just watched all of whats on this new channel... really good Lucy, Helen and the stars of the show, Bertie and Hulk😂 but ive been left in limbo, did lucy leave the umbrella or pack it 😂
Hi Lucy have a look at ( Northerners on tour ) maybe if you want to see how they vlog and look forward to seeing you on your new adventures Johnny and jane scoots and soul x
I've just caught up with you after your first trip. Cartagena looks awesome ❤ Another place to add to our Spain trip list for the future. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Lucy, that was a great video, looked a good experience and will look forward to seeing more,me and Jan are over 2nd April for a week hope to bump into you, take care, well done, 🥰👋xx
Hiya. Lucy and Helen. I loved how you showed your trip. Love the sunset pictures with Bertie and Hulk. Nothing better. A nice long walk with your favorite people. Beautiful pictures and clips. They sound like a great company to use. A dog car booster cushion might help with that. And make their journey a little better. A great way to work out what sort of style van will work for you all. Great advice for others. All the videos you make are great. I love this format. Definitely do a bit of both. Like Shared. Have a great Friday. Thank you for sharing
Awww thanks for the feedback hun thats really useful. dog booster seat, i didn't even know that was a thing! Will definitely look into that. Yep sunset walks with the furbabies are precious. Glad you liked the photos and thanks for watching xxx
Hiya. Lucy and Helen. Lovely van. Your fur babies look comfortable. Hiya Bertie and Hulk. So cute. I use a seat belt. Clip on the headrest and to their harness. Exciting times.
Wow Lucy. That looked amazing. 👍 you did extremely well for your first time. I bet it was very exhausting though, I understand how you have to really concentrate when driving somewhere new, especially in a camper van 🚍 Cartagene looked absolutely beautiful I'd love to check out that place with all the old ruins. Fab. Can't wait for your next trip away & maybe see a different camper van. 😁 I thought the price seemed OK. But like you I'd be petrified of not getting the deposit back.😂 Thanks for sharing Lucy. And well done.. 👍😊🚍😎 xx
I think because we'd worked ourselves up so much about this first trip that added to the mental tiredness too Next time we should be more relaxed from the off hopefully xx
Great video! Love the amphitheatre amazing sunrise/sunsets! Dogs looked like they enjoyed it!! La Manga looked a bit unusual. X Glad you coped well! Good luck for your future trips x
The dogs loved it they were so tired when we got back they slept for 2 days straight haha. they loved the long walks and getting to be with us 24/7 ❤️🐾
Hi lucy 👋so glad you enjoyed your first trip and look forward to more 😊 great footage and i want your dogs🐶🐶😂they are so cute ❤❤❤ great stuff lucy👍xxxx
Love the content, I don't think I could have been so relaxed though, with the 750 euro deposit given the dents and scratches I've seen on parked cars in the 'Dorm!
Been to Puerto de Mazarron quite a few times. The restaurants and bars out by the harbour, facing the sea and beach are a great place to chillax. Viggos is a great restaurant on the promenade. Very busy. Many good menu del dia options in other restaurants also. We love the wok buffet in the town. Go to Bolnuevo during the trip, also Lorca and Aguilas. Never been to Totano so would be good to see it if you're going😊
Ahhhhh it was great to see you both again and glad you enjoyed Cabo de Palos. La Manga is only open during Easter and summer season sadly but it's hectic then. Glad you got to Cartagena and Azohía. Maybe next time try an overcab bed type van xx
Loved this Lucy, Linda and I just watched it quickly before coming to the match. I'm sure we'll chat there. As you know, we are also newby campers and related so much with your issues. Broke the toilet cassette a couple of days ago whilst in Moraira. See you at the match xxx :)
Never like La Manga strip. Went 3 times and it was as boring as the first time. The views of Puerto de Mazarron on the way down from the hills are beautiful.
