Please can someone tell me approximately how long can I keep vibrance with 6 vol on the hair, on a level 6-7 without shifting the base, while toning a blonde highlight/ balayage service. I’ve had issues shifting the natural in this situation. I want to leave it long enough so it will last and not to long to affect the natural. Thanks
Hello there! Thank you for your question. If your client has super fine hair we would recommend using the 6 Volume Lotion mixed 1:1 with the selected shade and let it process for up to 5-20 minutes. Hope that this helps 💜

Thank you for this question. We recommend with the Highlifts if you are wanting to achieve the Reference you see on the swatch that you use it on the recommended starting levels 6-7. However if you use them on Virgin darker bases, 4=5, would you get lift? Yes, you can get up to 4-5 levels of lift, however it wouldn't be what the blonde swatch you see in our color charts. Can you use the demi permanent vibrance with the oil royal developer 30 volume? or must you use the other vibrance developer. A few, not many gray roots every 6 weeks on a level 6 color.? I do a 6: 00 or 7:00 depending.
Hello there! When breaking down color theory we recommend looking at the opposite side of the color wheel from where orange is. Blue(Ash) will cancel out unwanted Orange, and blue/violet (Cendre) will cancel out and yellow in the hair. Looking at the 5-12 it's a level 5 with a Cendre Ash tone direction. Which looks like this will be a great option to use to help cancel out unwanted copper. Sometimes 2-3 steps are recommended to use a Bond Enforcing Color Remover; if the color is intense in pigment. Fill the hair and apply final color. Hope that this helps 💖💖
What a great demonstration. Questions: I have been letting my natural gray/silver grow out for 7 months. But I'm not sure I'm liking it. If I were to let someone use a Semi- permanent on my hair and didn't like it, would it eventually wash out? I've had one stylist tell me, Yes," and another tell me, "Not completely." Thank you.
Hi Amber, I 've been using essensity (5-60 and 6-0 with 18 volume developer) for many years but unfortunately they are discontinued. I want to switch to igora royal and want to keep the same or close to the same hair color and need help. I have lots of gray hair but they are mainly on the top, closer to my forehead area. If I buy igora royal 5-6 and mix it with 6-0 with 30% developer, will I get similar results? Thank you!

This is a great question. If the hair has any porosity issues we would recommend mixing some of the 0-00 Clear into the toner to dilute the level and pigments in the hair. When you mix it into a IGORA Vibrance toner with the IGORA Vibrance Activator always add the equal amounts of Activator to the amount of toner and 0-00 you use. I fluctuate in color by a level 6. Sometimes I need and like to lift one shade. Natural color a mid brown, but like lighter. So confused if 7:00 is best or 7:4 ??? Sometimes it has been hard to cover but no damage. light waves, natural roots. I love the mutidemental look without any red leaning.💛💝
Great question. With IGORA Royal you can get 100% Coverage with | -0 | -1 | -4 | -63 | and if the hair is resistant we have the | -00 | with 25% more dye stuffs or the IGORA Absolutes that are premixed fashion shades with grey coverage and 30% more dye stuffs inside the tube for resistant hair. If you choose to use any of the Absolutes or -00 the recommended IGORA Royal Oil Developer we would recommend would be 30 Volume for hair that is 30-90% Gray/White hair that still has a lot of the natural hair mixed in. For hair that is 90-100% Grey/White 20 Volume is recommended. Hope that this helps ✨
