Camping - Cooking - Exploring - Adventure Join me as I try out solo camping and solo adventures.
Hello all, my name is Sumeran Govender. I am from Durban, South Africa.
I started this channel in November 2022. Follow me for camping adventures where I will be exploring my city and trying to see if I can manage to keep myself fed with various recipes that I will try in each video.
There was a ferry over from embankment. Friend and me went over. Needed a piddle badly and found some derelict toilets. Standing at urinal was suddenly surrounded by SADF from base on top. Told to leave as its part of the base.
Monster hydros were. Too bad theyre canceled. Thanks a lot everyone. Im glad wed rather drink radiated piss from marsupials than something better for you..
Thank you for show casing our local markets. This market specifically is a historical landmark for our community... Keep up the brilliant work young man...
I not sure if you will be able to do a video on this or if there is any information on this subject.. I m talking about the 2 unused rail lines in clairwood/Mobeni ( one is next to clairwood hospital and the other is further down on grimsby road / Higginson I've tried ro find information about it like when was it used whatvwas it used for and when was it closed However I could not find anything
Just saw your video. We will be visiting Durban very soon. What is the best way to go to hotel from the King Shaka Airport? Is it safe to take a taxi in the night as we will be reaching late night. Thanks
Very rare for bunny chows in Cape Town. They put fresh chips in hollowed bread and call it a bunny chow. I myself make it it at least once a month with my own curry. Your one looks red hot mate. Looks too hot for me.
@@SumeranGovender you do get it but it is not the same as a Durban bunny. I bought it once from a Pakistani restaurant which was OK but wasn't anything like what you get in Durban. That is why I prefer to make my own as I can make a great Durban curry. Thanks for the video mate, I have become a great fan of your videos as they keep in touch with my roots. 👍🙏👌
Great Vlog nd thanks for showing my favourite Spice shop 😊That lady nd her staff always makes me feel special like family I'm from Cape town but having been a comrades runner I would feel like my visit to Durban was a waste of time if I didn't visit the Victoria Street market
Your videos don't have to be travel base , cost of living is expensive, switch up your content ideas introduce us to a family member who's happy to be on camera ,re introduce yourself to new subscribers tell us about you , I remember you done a milkshake review which was nice , also reach out to brands such as spar you do tons of cooking on your channel they can sponsor you with ingredients while you do an exchange of content ,im sure you meeting RU-vid threshold to be paid I personally watch all of your adverts. Keep it going, 💯 you got this 💪
The fact that you put this out there in front of everyone shows your commitment.Another great thing is that you love what you do which has potential in itself. The content and ROI is all that matters to sponsors and you already have the content working Keep it up
Hey Sumeran, Im a content creator on IG and if i can give you advise, it would be to rather start small. Create content within your budget because getting sponsors and deals does take time. The more you put yourself in debt for content the harder it is to climb out of that but dont give up. Also consider having a content strategy and align that with your budget. You dont need to spend a ton of money to create content. Even if you cook at home using ingredients that you have access to.
Hi , really enjoyed the video Sumeran. The breyani looked yummy. For a first attempt , you did very well. Please do not give up in anything that you do. We all will spread the word around. You make awesome videos and would like for you to continue. Never give up on your dreams. Things always have a way of working out. It may also be a good idea to approach local businesses as well. I'm sure there will be a positive response as this would be a good way for them to have exposure on social media via your channel. Wish you all the best in your future endeavors and I will also spread the word around. Take care. God bless. Praneeth
The last thing we want is for you to stop making videos 😓. I will share this with all the business owners that I personally know and if there is any other way that we as viewers can support the channel and help it to grow, please let us know🙏(oh btw the biryani actually looked pretty good for a first attempt!😅).
Hi I know you'll don't want me to stop 🙂 . I actually have a PayPal account where people can donate to the channel. www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=XKRBFHRG3J97U
Nice video👌Next time dont cool the chicken...for biryani u layer the marinated chicken ( uncooked) also no need to fry onions buy ready made fried shallots... notice u did not add lentils? Or peas?
