Wonderful but I do wish that players and other representatives of their countries would learn the words of their National Anthem and sing them with gusto.
Sadly Flower of Scotland is a fairly rubbishy anthem compared to the Welsh one. They should find a better one. I always envy the Welsh, French, Germans, Russians and many more countries who have very good anthems.
I played it hundreds of times. I am Irish American day wen I watch an hear the entire stadium singing it bring tears to my eyes. I guess it is because you see the pride and unity of the people. And when Charlotte Church’s voice rises above the rest it is magical. God bless the Welsh. Greatest National Anthem
I'm a kiwi and this Anthem gives me incredible chills,its highly emotional and i understand the pride the Welsh have in their country when i hear this.

What or how are they to sing this song in years to come when no one speaks the language ? You cant be Welsh for 60 odd mins and before anyone shouts " I'm Welsh but I don't speak the language" Tell me, what is the difference between us and the English ? The latest figures showed a drop in the language to 19%??!! Are you blind? I speak to the Welsh people daily & I KNOW it's apathy.PLEASE, PLEASE wake up!
As much as I love our proud Welsh singers, I REALLY MUCH prefer the choir singing before the games, you hear them and the crowd unite as one strong proud Welsh voice, much more powerful than that of just the one (in this case three ) voice. Cymru am byth!
managed to get max's autograph at that match. he signed it from max coz i wuz there. what a guy, pure legend. noticed half the players weren't singing. shame as it is such a rousing anthem.
