Is there a particular reason why the sinkhole is right in the middle of the field? Seems like the construction of the field has something to do with the sinkhole (instead of just happen to be where the collapse took place)
Went here few years back. Good trail and just little challenging near the top. Wife had to guide our truck near the edge of the rock perch for a good photo shoot angle near where you guys are sitting
I'm not sure why Canyonlands National Park was automatically tagged in the description as this trail is not in Canyonlands. But Canyonlands is nearby and it is an excellent park.

I'm not really concerned about any of that to be honest. I'm not posting these to get the most views or make any money. It's just a place for me to put my vacation videos to share with family and friends.
I hate when I forget to switch the fuel valve off of reserve after filling up. That sickening feeling when you go to switch to reserve and it's already on reserve. Oops!
@@williampalchak7574 Well that's weird. Perhaps it was an '86 year model problem. The whole roof of her car started peeling. She had to eventually get it repainted because it looked so awful.
@@williampalchak7574 It did. Had a sort of 2 tone thing going on after, burgundy body and gray roof. Unfortunately, it just flat out stopped running not long afterwards and we had to get a new car. She had more trouble with that car breaking down than any other car I can remember her having.

Hi Ray, hope you're doing well. We were just north of the eclipse center line on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River about half way between Gorham and Grand Tower IL.
I heard after MB Air Force base closed down, most or all those A10s went to Pope Air Force Base, NC...next to Bragg. Dont know if thats true but its what I heard.
Yes, MBAFB closed in 1993, the year after I left. I'm not sure where most of the planes went by my plane (the one in this video) went to the New England Air Museum in Connecticut.
@@vmdirt I have actually been to that museum a long time ago when I was a boy. I visited that museum with my Grandparents from Connecticut once or twice in 1979 or 1980. Maybe 1981 it was so long ago I can't remember the exact year. It's next to Bradley Field Airport in CT. Back then I don't remember if it was called the New England Air Museum. It was military aircraft oriented and had tons of military aircraft from the WW2 era through the Cold war era. It was very informal then, I remember much of it was outside then and I could climb all over many of the aircraft. A tornado tore it up in the nineties and they rebuilt it. I found pictures of my visit there (1980ish) this past Christmas...glad I found those old photos it was the Bradley Field air museum before it was torn up by a tornado. Next time I go there I will look for your A10 Warthog.
@@CoolestDude38NC Very Cool. The museum reached out to me for info on the airplane. I believe they put Paul Filcek and Todd Priesch's name on the plane for Crew Chiefs. I was crew chief on it for 5 years and right before the war Paul took it over because I became a training instructor. But then when the war came I went over to Saudi as a regular crew chief but was no longer assigned a specific airplane. Todd Priesch was my assistant for several years and we went on to be part of the A-10 demo team. Paul became an officer and was promoted to full bird and I believe is still a base commander (at Tinker if I recall). Both of those guys are top notch.
@@vmdirtYou were crew chief for that A10? When I was a lifeguard for John's Beach Service in 1988, we had a female lifeguard who was married to one of the A10 pilots. I believe she was from New York...I did not get to know her well because she was married. I met her A10 pilot husband...a big, kind of athletic guy. If I remember correctly, he was a lower level commander of one of the A10 squadrons...I might be wrong about his status. I met him several times summer 1988...if I remember correctly he came to the lifeguard house on 29th Avenue North once or twice. I also met him at an air show I attended at MB AFB summer 1988. He was standing with his A10 on display and I remember he had some of his ground crew there with him. Being a ground chief of an A10 is a lot of responsibility. I was interested in going into the military for special warfare then, but did not end up doing it because of knee injury and a severe third degree ankle sprain I got in a high school cross country meet. That pilot was in addition to the other A10 pilot I became friends with that summer I wonder once in a while what happened to all those people.
I got to know an A10 pilot summer 1988 who was stationed at MB Air Force base. I was a beach lifeguard for John's Beach service that summer. The guy told me he was prior enlisted Army 82nd Airborne and got out, went to college and went back into the military in the Air Force and became an A10 pilot. Unfortunately I can't remember the pilot's name. We'd drink beer once or twice at the pier near the center of Myrtle Beach. And he would hang out around my stand a little. I was interested in the military (SOF) at that time and I already knew A10s did close air support for ground troops...along with killing tanks. I remember once he talked about how flying those A10S made you strong because of the way they flew them.
Hey i saw on forum your Zx10r no oil pressure after crash. I had similar issue the bike had no oil pressure after oil change, sight glass didn’t move. How long did your bike idle with no pressure? Is the bike still fine? I’m worried I cause wear in motor
