We enjoy with bittersweet appreciation. I got a kick out of Kevin Burke donning his Fiddle Fair hat. I lost my hat last year just before the fiddle harbor ride. Thankfully I found it after scurrying to retrace my steps. I'd love one in blue. Maybe next year.

I'd say John Doyle's backup is a brand of oblique harmonies and rhytms, be assured he knows what he is doing. These guys (all three) are among the best in the world.

OK, so if you want to know what I particularly like about this mob, it's the fact that they don't feel the need to augment their sound with the ubiquitous acoustic guitar and keyboards. Just saying; wouldn't want to get into a blazin' argument with anyone about it.
