Hello there, welcome to my channel. I walk, hike, wildcamp and do outdoor cooking, AND DRINK COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF TEA, mainly between the Peak District to the Yorkshire Dales in the UK. Scratch that I'm now in Cornwall
I wish I was living down that way, I have always loved the Cornish scenery. What I don't like is the parking charges. Every scrap of parking space is a charged for now. Every verge has boulders in the way, you have to keep away from the coast and popular villages if you want to park free. I would be making the most of my motor bike in this weather. Looks like you are enjoying yourself though. I have a pair of crocs for paddling in stony places and Perranporth beach where the weaver fish could be hiding.
@Christophers-Assorted-Stuff yes that day cost me £6.80! I find crocs too slippery when wet, I got some walking sandals from mountain warehouse which are great when wet
That was a pretty wild location there, looked nice, you are looking well, are you missing the Jimmy, how's the new car? I like that you have different size mugs for your cups of teas 😊
@northernembersoutdoors1045 just got car yesterday, am transferring my shit over now lol new car is comfortable already checked I should be able to car camp lol
@@LezleysAdventures forgot to give the video a like! Done now. Good luck with the car, I hear you when it comes to hopefully it doesn't have any issues.
@northernembersoutdoors1045 chevrolet sprint, the welder guy happened to have it for sale at right price probably get it next week, just trying to get something for the jimny
Well you are looking good ! But I do feel your energy level are still a little low , but hay it’s great to see you out cooking and brewing it up , free car park can’t be bad x
I was just at the right place and the right time to be the first to comment. In others words probably up too late and still on the pc. I may have a 'youtube' addiction. There is so much interesting stuff and not enough time to see it all! Anyway, good to see you getting about again, though I notice I missed a couple of videos from a month ago. Great View of the coast, though the sky looks a bit grey and really dramatic cloud formation and the nuisance wind blowing a bit!
@LezleysAdventures Blimey really, I found it really beneficial. Anyway good to see your getting back into the swing of thing's, plenty of sleep at night 🌙 and regular gentle exercise.. Night night lady Lezley 😴
Cracking place Lezley, came up really well on the video, getting out a little here and there is the best thing you can do. That's what it's all about enjoying a simple lunch. I'm cleaning to, no jokes, 9 trips to the skip and maybe 3 to go😂
@joewalker1130 I'd take the stalk off when it's ready to pop put it in a paper bag and the seeds should come off there, but as its quite meaty it could rot, so something to look out for, other than that I'd do a search on google/youtube I'm sure somes collected them
@@LezleysAdventures aw gorgeous, life took a hold for a bit. And took some major changes in my life. But I am all good. Still out and about. But not on film. I am toying with the idea of getting my ass back on here. Got a m8 who is all shiny and new to the outdoors. He’s interested in capturing it all on film. Awesome to see you still at it had a massive smile on my face when I logged in and saw you. Bloody great xx ❤️. You still rock and kick ass!!
I remember when i first used an alcohol stove i didnt like it, but i much prefer it to gas now. yeah solid fuel is a pain sometimes but i keep getting drawn to it, think I'll just keep the solid fuel as a back up if i run out of alcohol . feel like I'm starting from scratch finding my favourite things
Nice to see you out Lezley, that looked a nice bit of time out. That looks a nice place to visit i hope you had a lovely bit of time out. You made those noodles look tasty. 👌
Great to see you getting better ❤️🩹, a little tip on your fuel tablet is to scrap the top to get some fine bits and light that , my partner and I will have to meet up one day and do a video with ya.
You are slowly getting back to your normal way of life by the look of it. Lets hope it is not too long before you are at full strength again. I remember watching some of your old videos from before you moved, - you used to walk for miles then.
yes I hope i can get back to the walking fitness level I was at, my recovery hasn't gone as smoothly as i was hoping for, I've been left dangling with no guidance from the NHS
you did more than 7.5 mile. prob 10 or 11 , plus you made it a little harder going down that steep hill opposite the cafe towards the beach only to walk back up to the official start or ending on Filey Brigg
Probably can't remember how I tracked that walk lol yeah I kicked myself when I realised what I'd done, didn't know Filey well only how to get to the beach lol
I never even got a notification about this video! Good to see a video. You bought the right size trangia bottle, I bought the massive one😂😂. Good to see you're on the road to recovery, rest is very important but the cups of tea are the key👍👍👍👍. Where did you get that little hot plate from?
@northernembersoutdoors1045 if you get it oil it before cooking, I think it will be good for steak strips maybe prawns! I watch Korean & Japanese camp cook vids, absolutely love some of their cookware
Hi lezley, you always find cool little cooking gadgets, i like that kettle too , I'm really pleased that you are recovering well, interesting little hot plate too, shame the kettle isnt as good as it looks , take care , atb
