I'm trying to add files to my app on the iPhone and it just isn't working. I don't see the same options available to me. I have them in my iCloud Drive, but can't get them to the app.
@@AudioApeRemote oh man that’s a life saver as my macs on its way out and until I can get a new one I needed a way to still play videos etc during shows. I had the app but never used it. Got to look into this now. Thanks bud.
Ive been saving my pennies and hoping to be ready to pull the trigger on the Pro this summer, if things continue to go as well as they are now. Ive been watching these videos and saw how to hook up my Ipad so I can see the title display (number alone doesn't work for me either), but the one thing I haven't seen is how to select the playlists built in the Ipad. I see you can build them on a computer into the SD card and insert the SD into the receiver but I also see you can build Playlists a few different ways like Air Drop, etc. in the IPad, itself. I see in this video that after MENU there is: SETTINGS, REMOTE, & SD CARD. I'm guessing an option for IOS device pops up under SD CARD if an Ipad is connected?
Hey, thanks for your interest in our products Zack :) You'll be happy to know there is no need to select iOS when connecting the Audio Ape Pro to an iPad, Computer, or any other device. Once you move out of the SD player screen the receiver is ready to control any USB device. Once you move back into the SD player controls get routed there again.
Is there a way or setting to where if I tap the next/forward button, it will fade the current track and automatically play the next track without hitting the center button?
Yes, we have an autoplay feature, assign that to the picture. Then when you play the music track before the picture it'll simultaneously trigger the photo with the music.
Brilliant, thank you, do you know, is there a way of jumping to a point in a track that's already playing? Eg jumping to 45sec even if you're already playing the track and are curently at 30sec or even 59sec Thank you in advance :)
I'm super interested in getting one of these but I need a MIDI Bank change signal that increments up and down through a patch list on a guitar pedal. Can the Audio Ape do that? The guitar pedal can receive MIDI through USB.
We currently only have note on commands 1-50. We may add more in the future through software updates. In the meantime, you can use Qlab to send those MIDI commands out to your pedal and also be able to use QLab and our remote for many other elements in your show rather than just tying the remote to one thing (your guitar pedal)
When you say 20 remotes with different profiles, what exactly does that mean? I'm just beginning to study this, as your equipment is highly recommended by several magic acts and one vent? Or maybe you could recommend something to watch that would be of a more general description. -keith
Looks brill although I couldn't survive without seeing my show track titles. I even add on cues for certain jokes I make and instructions to grab certain props.
I’d rather it had some of the track title rather than a number. Changing the show on the fly would be difficult if the tracks are just numbers. Even just the first few letters of the track name would be better.
Every user has different requirements as a developer it's hard to balance them all out. All we can do is go with the majority. You always have the option of using an iPad or iPhone.
Hey yeah, this recording was recording down and dirty at an Airport due to a chance run-in. Yes, their show is complicated, with multiple video walls and feeds, 5 mics with changing levels and effects within seconds, Firing over 200 lighting cues in sync with a click being run with all of this. On my IPhone 6 plus, I'm not seeing how to rearrange the songs.those three lines to the right are not on my set list. (you talk about this at the 39:30 minute markI hope I can rearrange these songs with out going back to my huge iTunes library
+magic1926 Whatever you like. However we think any one with a lightning adaptor would stay up with the iOS changes better. But we support all iOS devices :)
