Nice work. Not sure I'd be comfortable thinning but it looks fancy. It's hard to video in the barn with the light meter reading the outside. Video was much better from the mule's left side. Thanks for sharing this.
Hey 👋 My name is Enos. I was born and raised Amish, right here in Kentucky, I left that lifestyle when I was 19 years old. Thanks for the video it brought back lots of good memories
Very good ! Must be the heat is why they are using mostly mules ? I think in the communities in the north it is mostly horses . Thanks be to God the horse and mule is still a beast of burden ! A horse or mule seems to respect himself and you when we does useful work .
too bad man couldnt work in Harmony with the animals in which the animals would Want to help man and not be forced to help man. if you show respect for an animal, the animal will want to help you as much as it can. Willingly.
Hmm I never realized how much kids and mules were a like! My boys got to work with the Amish putting hay away and when they got done, they went to bed!! No goofing off, no rowdiness, nothing! They got their agenda taken away!! LOL (They really had a great time tho!)
Can't wait for the sorghum to start coming in back home up in the hills. I just ran out of that yummy syrup and ready for a road trip. Sure are some beautiful mules those folks have. There was a guy not too far down the road from me that raised some of the most gorgeous giant white draft mules I've ever seen before. They're all gone and the place grown up now. Guess maybe he passed on? Wish I had taken the time to see if he was open to a visit with him when I could have.
That’s not true. These guys “want to be there”. They have chosen this life and they are better off for it. Healthier, and much happier. God bless them. And if its 200 years ago it’s more like great, great great grandfather’s day. Too bad the camera person is not good at filming. 🤦🏻♀️
Bob,this mule is Amazing.i love the size.the color, the confirmation is spectacular! That long neck is really nice! Very balanced. One of the most favorite mules I've seen! He has a very willing personality too! What a nice Mule!
Love your mule videos. I hace a couple of trained mules who sadly developed lameness. If I were to be interested in one of your mules are you able to have a veterinarian check them out thoroughly beforehand they are sent?
