honestly? This may not be the best Spidey cartoon, it's not even the best superhero cartoon, but holy shit, this show had an indescribable vibe. and it's still set in the same universe as the trilogy (in theory), it's so surreal to think that apart from all the drama and romantic comedy (which I particularly love) of Raimi's films, it has all the vibe of this cartoon... I so wanted a more adult Spider-Man cartoon, it would be so cool. I don't dislike lighter stories and drawings, but I miss something more "wow", you know? I rewatched this drawing in the last few days, and I can say that I loved every part of it. It is certainly one of the most curious and interesting adaptations of Spider-Man in the last 20 years
Those truckers, they’re not laying down anymore. You know maybe they’ll make it through the night but every law enforcement agency in California is coming down on them… if you don’t want anything happen to your brother, to Letty, to Leon, to VINCE, you have to get in that car with me.. Mia you’re the only one that can help me, just get in that car with me please.. proceeds to speed off from Race wars 🔥🔥
where did you find this? did you download it from some website or did you rip it off a special edition CD? would wish to have this in flacwav quality but there ain't one elsewhere apart from yt
Don't diss your ride man. Honda makes among the better cars. I had a tuned CRX back in the day, low upkeep and was a great everyday car. It got written off by a driver on their phone at a red light however :(
Beautiful, just beautiful. The 2000's, when street racing meetups and trance was at it's finest. I miss when movies had a deeper sort of meaning to them or they were mean to introduce cultures presented in the movie. I remember when there was an entire culture around this type of thing and was a very real, flourishing thing. Sure people associated this sort of genre with substances and the like which was complete conjecture and close minded, but, it really felt like there was something more there. You wanted to drive the cars, meet with the characters and get a dopamine boost while doing so. The turn of the Millennium was promised to be the turning point with new technology, never before seen, companies, especially in gaming, taking big risks with no promise of anything paying off and a bright and optimistic future ahead of us all. Unfortunately, most things got worse and we were lied to in a sense and sort of left in a sort of despair with a very uncertain future. Go and look up early 2000's advertisements and or infomercials, like the 2005 o2 advert with Sean Bean or the 2000's Toyota Hybrid Technology advert, they were hopeful for the future and felt like care was put into them compared to today. Sure, they weren't to be believed to the letter or anything but it felt like there was something in there. The past is gone and the future is barren but at least we have music like this to come back to.
when FF was believable and immersive-exciting... now we have FF in space, in FF 11 there will be time travel, FF 12 will race on a nanometric scale against antimatter... the saga was completely corrupted...
