This move isnt harder or as effective as an elastico. This move can be done with a few minutes of prectice. You just need to get the feel and the timing. Elastico requires you to maintain contact with the ball and use your knee to swing out and in. Most people dont use the knee to manipulate the leg and foot.
In Brazil we call reverse elastico because you generally do the elastico with the outside then inside (we play barefoot most part of the time so that way we dont hurt our trivela fingers) so the reverse elastico is in and out on Brazil, just some random fact.
Also for example with Right foot, we do almost half meter cut very fast to the left and then use the outside part to make to the right, so we can do nutmegs or just break the ankle
whenever I dribble with speed I kick the ball too hard either with my inside or outside of the foot and the ball moves too far away from me giving away possession to the other team do you know how I can fix this?
I definitely second his comment below but it would also help to know your position and when you're choosing to try to dribble at high speed? Because it could be the spots you're choosing to dribble in rather than bad technique
