Damn I miss women's 80's hair. Not the Melanie Griffith "Working Girl" hair, but the Rebecca Holden Knight Rider, Christie Brinkley National Lampoon's Vacation kind of hair.
It is very expensive and taking much time to hold this styling of hair nowadays. For girls is now better and easier to have longer hair with no styling. But I like this rich styling too. I agree with you, it is very pretty and sexy.
I've always had a weakness for Authentic Strawberry Blondes/Redheads. Irish/Russian mix girls. To April should have stayed on in season 3 and 4 and competed with Bonnie over KITTs attention. That would have been a fun twist.
COLEY FOLEY ALMOST: LIKE FUCKIN STOPPED WATCHING THE SHOW (WHEN HE WAS LITTLE) ONCE THEY LIKE TRIED TO REPLACE FUCKIN "APRIL" WITH "BONNIE"... (BECAUSE FUCKIN "APRIL" WAS UH... FUCKIN "HOLDEN" COLEY FOLEY'S ATTENTION... HAHAHA!)
Just sucks that they didn't even acknowledge April's departure when Bonnie returned in Season 3. Sure, they did the same thing with Bonnie after Season 1. But that don't bother me as they brought her back in Season 3 and established she'd been away at university during Season 2. But with April, she just departs with no explanation and is never seen nor mentioned again. If only they could've at least given a small bit of dialogue hinting April's departure during Season 3. Or if she'd returned for a cameo at Michael and Stevie's wedding in "The Scent of Roses".
While most fans prefer Bonnie over April, at least we got to see April's sister and adopted niece in the episode "Race for Life". Whereas Bonnie's relatives were only mentioned, but never appeared on screen. In "Sky Knight", Bonnie too has a sister as she was en route to her wedding when her plane was hijacked. And in "Just My Bill", she mentions slashing her wrist to convince her dad she couldn't stand the sight of blood. Plus while Bonnie dealt with KARR, April dealt with Garthe Knight.
According to some sources, David Hasselhoff would not have appreciated that Patricia McPherson (who played Bonnie Barstow) be replaced by Rebecca Holden in the second season and that there would have been a disagreement between them. This is why he would have pressed the producers to have the character of Bonnie return to the series during the following season. Do you know more about it ?
If she had replaced Patricia McPherson (who played the character of Bonnie) in season 2, when the latter returned to the series at the beginning of season 3, the character of April has disappeared without being provided with any explanation on what it becomes ! Why did the writers and producers never find it useful to give the answer (either in the first episode of season 3 or in one of the other episodes of the series) ?
Patricia McPherson got replaced because the studio had a more "sexy" character for the mechanic role in mind. (Hilarious if you ask me, Knight Rider is no Playboy Series) besides, what is so bad in ms. Pherson. The fans and viewers didnt like that and so Patricia came back in season 3. The replacement is explained that Bonnie worked at an university for a year.
She's trying so hard not to laugh in the scene with garth knight (From 2.43 onwards) especially when she said 'mirror'. Must've been the fake beard on Michael knight 😜 The production team must've been out of spare film or they would have had a re-take ☺
She was better for the role of technician for KiTT, but as far as looks, April blows her away, Bonnie had no body, nothing really stuck out as attractive.
Rebecca Holden was one of the most beautiful women of the 80s period & to compare a mousey plain jane wall to a woman who is perfection is just a bad joke and is laughable
@@elisathompson-hurt7144 A woman who is perfection?🤣 I think your understanding of a woman who is perfection is different than most of us. Specially because we are talking about the role in knight rider. Not physical attributes.
