Wondering if the gauge on the console is the Mercury smart gauge with Troll Mode where you can adjust the idle RPM up and down by 10 RPM at a time? Or can you have the analog Troll Mode switch installed? (Looking at new boats)
It used to be one of the most respected names in C.C. until it was bought out in the mid 90's and then the quality went south fast and never recovered. If you want the Reel Deal find a Mid 80's Mako and you will see what quality stood for. I own a 86 23.6 Mako and would never part with it compared with the expensive junk they sell today.
I'm sorry but no, no, and no again lol... This mako is HORRIBLY underpowered, way to heavy for what it is, has a TERRIBLE holeshot, comes with a bad trailer, and a myriad of other little "oh we didn't think of that" things ... I'm sorry, but your video (while well put together) is just not the case for the boat you're promoting. And at 38k, you can get A LOT better...
This boat is just 1k shy of a 15 footer, this should really cost 16k not 20. Checkout Rabco they are family owned made in Florida and fully customizable. The only reason they sell that boat cause the financing options. Dont get me wrong i do like the Mako 13 alot, im just not stupid enough to breakout 20K on this!
I don’t know why but I always thought Mako boats were foam film like the Boston whaler. But I do like this phone is very nice and that’s the type of fish and I would do in shallow type water so that would be a perfect boat
Got a brand new mako in 2016. Awesome boat with a trash mercury motor. Nothing but problems and now a have a 2016 mako in my back yard with trees growing around it because of junk mercury motors. Mako is a solid boat but i now ate my loss buying a 2016 mako and purchased another boat in 2022 with Suzuki outboards and im sold. I’ll never buy another boat without Suzuki motors again.
RIP Mako Being bought by a bass boat company was a criminal act. Legendary offshore fishing boats reduced to one center console at 21 feet. Everything else is a glorified bass boat at 18 feet and under. Absolutely wretched of the new owners.

Depends on what you want to use it for and where. For smaller waters and single to double man fishing, it offers a very wide and stable platform for the size that can possibly get where bigger boats can't.
I've been fishing tons of spots lately by myself or with a buddy. I bought an 11' with an 8hp outboard to learn before i got a bigger boat. I'm starting to reconsider if i want a bigger boat for now. This size seems perfect for storage, maintenance, and affordability.
