Hitting a rim with a hammer is not the right way. You are illustrating the use of hydraulics to push out a low spot. You should also use hydraulics to pull in a high spot.
You can also do preventative maintenance on your suction cups by taking the cup off and using any rubber conditioning oil every three months or so. Make sure it gets down the hole the pump stem goes into.

Unfortunately, the dent is not finished! Super PDR of course helps, but with stretched dents. With such as the one in the video, in my opinion it is better to use tools and glue method.
As a 23 yr PDR Master technician I still really enjoy the videos explaining the use of the different tools and tips that you offer. I have many of them and will be getting more.
Ah, I spoke too soon. They do put a dial indicator on it. Still, the wheel needs to be supported from the bottom and underneath the lip. Also, the pressure point needs to have roller bearings so the wheel can be rolled around.
