Lol I hear ya. This was definitely one of the most interesting outings / Videos I’ve ever made. So many ups and a few downs. I never mention Jesus Christ but in editing I both said that specific name and a bunch of F bombs throughout the entire film. Which both are unlike me. 💩Happens! I was up in Wisconsin on Lake Dubay (just south of Mosinee). We were casting along a boulder shoreline catching small mouth bass. I was using a Shimano casting rod and Bantam 100 reel combo I just bought at Morrie Mages sporting goods store! I was so proud about that rod and reel (Top of the line $$$ back then)! I took a hard cast to cover a longer than usual distance. As I snapped my wrist down. The rod broke between the lower reel seat and the handle with loud SNAP. I looked up and all I saw was a flash of silver as the rod and dangling reel sailed through the air. 🥶😡🤬🤯😭😭😭

You’d like to think so. At least I def did . But there are parts of the fox almost nearly impossible to yield sallies. Port barrington ideal looking smallmouth spot. Just large mouth ,big largemouth. Certain times of the year as fish move through I’m sure. But in general. No way Jose 😎😎✌️👍🎣🎣 Appreciate the support Happy Fishing
@@GeoFishing I really never knew that. I assumed because it was all the same river that the species would be dispersed in it as such. But I always fish South of the Algonquin dam. So I guess everywhere in there.😆
@@scottwilliams3481 same with Lake Michigan. Known for smallies and their everywhere most protected fish in the city of Chicago. Yet you’ll never find a smallie in diversy harbor bedding or swimming around. They’ll pass through just as the fox. But the habitat in the surrounding area just doesn’t suit their interest. At the mouth of Diversy great, The lagoon at the end of Diversy Even greater! But in Diversy harbor the smallmouth just simply avoid. Though loaded with largemouth! Happy Fishing 🎣
Great night of fishin! They say there are over a billion who fish! Only 10% catch fish. Of those 10% probably 1% of them can catch fish any time they want. They are the true predators in the art/sport of fishing. George You will never starve!

Nice! I never caught any peacock bass. My Dad had some property near Islamorada FL. I used to catch red snapper in the canals. Tons of blue crabs in the brackish bays. 👍
The FDA allows way worse in your food. That you consume and drink daily. They just tweek the name in the ingredients. Good to be aware. Happy Fishing 🎣
@@GeoFishingthe best tasting foods usually ate the worst things while they’re still alive! Pigs, catfish, both will eat anything and still are super tasty, it just doesn’t bother me. Got any catfish tips for a guy who only fished for bass and bluegill growing up? I moved to FL and have yet to go fishing since the move from the Midwest and I really need to get back into it
@@GeoFishingagreed, only thing we have to worry about nowadays is eating fish from the major waterways PFAS is found in all the fish now and with some species they only recommend 1 or 2 of them biweekly. (My government also says I should only have 4 drinks a week, yea okay buddy😂)

Chicharones! We have Mexican and Puerto Rican restaurants that make fresh Chicharones every day! Try making scrambled eggs with Chicharones jalapeños and queso. Or make tacos with Chicharones. Chicharones the all purpose food! Also make nachos with Chicharones: black beans, ground beef, jalapeños, queso blanco, corn, and top it off with Valentino! 😎
