I love this method of making this block! I haven't ever seen it before. It makes for a more precise block rather than cutting all of the pieces and sewing them back together. Thank you it's beautiful 😍

Why not embroidery the initials of the state on each Bloch after it is made. This would give the quilt a second texture and add to the overall hand made look of the quilt. Simple block lettered or cursive depending on your experience with embroidery.
I got my first shipment a few weeks ago. It's also my first time ever doing one of these subscriptions. So far, so good! Next time I'll know to wait for an ambassador code. I would love an Oops kit.
I bought sheet protectors and a 3 ring binder to put each block in its own sleeve and I put the card in with them to know what states they are. I learned this from Karen Montgomery, whom I am doing the 50 Civil War Sampler blocks, with.
Got my blocks together last night! So pretty 🎉 I love that they all have some white fabric. I am going to use a permanent marker to write the state on each block 💙🇺🇸
