Come and join us on our travel adventures abroad 🌏
We are a British and Singaporean couple living in London and our goal is to publish at least one video a month. Destinations you can look forward to in our videos this year include Bulgaria, Norway, Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and the UK.
We film all the video footage with a phone so what you see in the videos are what you can experience in person.
Hi, there are restaurants around the top of Hikage gondola and we did see some dog walkers around the Paradise area where there are quite a few restaurants too.
Helo thank you for the video it’s really lovely ❤ I also have a question at 2:37 which lane in the nozawa skii is that because I wanna take a picture there😅😊
If you let them know you are celebrating something, they will surprise you during dinner in cute costumes to celebrate together ☺️ they also gave us a handwritten letter with a photo of us and some wine to take home
Hi, we didn’t keep a detailed budget but our largest spends were on accommodation and ski passes which came to £370 per person for 6 days. We would love to visit Bulgaria again, we received recommendations in the comments for coastal towns and they look beautiful!
Hi, yes we stayed at two different places. The view, facilities, room style and price point were all different but we enjoyed both places very much 😌 For special celebrations we would go back to Ubuya.
I have to compliment your steady iPhone filming technique. Impressive. I'm not a photography expert but I have just one tiny bit of a suggestion. Some (not all) of the panning shots were a skosh too quick. Overall though, for just handheld iPhone camera shots, the videography is excellent and very pleasant to watch. Your channel deserves more subscribers. So here's one more for your channel plus a 👍. Cheers 🥂 ps - Love the background music selections also.
The visuals in this video...................... just - WOW !!!!! Stunning. Mount Fuji filming never looked better. Added to my travel playlist for future reference. Thank you. Cheers. 🥂
Thanks for watching and wishing you a great time in Bansko 😊 The entrance fee we paid was 40 lev for a half day pass. There is also a full day pass which costs slightly more.
Hi. May I ask whether the water in the private outdoor bath (together with the room) of Ubuya and Kogetsu, are they onsen spring water or just normal hot water? From what I read, seems like it is hot water for Ubuya and onsen spring water for Kogetsu. Much tks for your reply!
Hi, I’m not sure. There are signs on etiquette and rules in the onsens so you can pop in to have a look at those. Alternatively, there are outdoor open air baths at SPArena where you can enter with a swimsuit.
Hi, we bought a multi day lift pass from the ticket counter at Nagasaka Gondola station which you can also buy online in advance. If you have not skied before we highly recommend booking ski lessons, you can do this online in advance and may not need to get a lift pass depending on the type of lesson you are taking. Wishing you a super fun visit! 😊
Me and my wife are going to Tokyo in February and I really want to have at least 1 day in a ryokan that serves food with a private onsen any recommendations?
I watched your vlog and just realised that I have missed so many day time activities that I could do haha. This year I will try to come earlier before sunset. Coool video ! How is it for sleeping in the tent? Is it hard to sleep during the day? Last year and this year I sleep outside but next year I want to try camping ❤
Thanks for watching! I hope you get to try more fun and new things the next time you attend 😊 when camping it gets cold in the night and hot when the sun rises, thankfully there are quite a few open air shaded areas that are cooler than the tent to have a nap at.
Hi, no we did not but there is the option to have one. They also newly constructed an infinity pool at the second place. We faced the same challenge picking between the two which was why we ended up visiting both 😂
@@Ko_Abroadthank you so much for replying! I am going to book the second place now since Ubaya is already booked out for March 😢 May I ask which room you booked for the Shuhoukaku Kogetsu
The room type we stayed in was ‘Japanese Style Room’. I hope you still have an amazing time when you visit ☺️ the lakeside walk from the ryokan is beautiful and there is a lovely bakery less than 5 mins away too!
Hi, I stayed at a relative’s house within the village. As the village is not that big, as long as you are staying near one of the onsens, most places should be within walkable distance 😊 hope that still helps!
@@muhammadherjuno5565 Hi, I would recommend having a look on Google Hotels if you’re struggling to find a place through a specific booking website :) good luck with the accommodation search

Hello Ko, any tip on how to book into the Obuya Osen, I been trying to surprise my wife for our anniversary, but no one answer and its hard to book online. Thanks for any help
Hi, my best recommendation would still be to try and book directly via their website using the English language setting. The reservations usually fill up in advance but they do sometimes have special availability if you choose to book two nights in a row.
Hello! Such a beautiful vlog! Love this! Sorry weird question but just want to be sure- the private bath in your room, was it hot water? Cos i checked ubuya website and it says private bath is not hot spring but is it still hot?
