The Twilight Zone Demo Reel reboot generally has no reason to be as eerie and fun as it is! I know the bar is kind of on the floor but I genuinely had a good time watching it and it was a REAL homage to Twilight Zone! It's nice to see someone with passion and excitement on channel awesome.
I can't really draw... Though I did try for a while. Got a book n shit cos I'm just not a natural artist, and I felt like I was getting alright. I like pencil.. I just like the greys and blacks and the depth added by shading. So like, having done that for over a yearish, I look at Miura'd work and I just cannot comprehend it. Do you have any idea how long it would take him to do the detail on even one arm? Let alone an entire body, let alone when he does _entire detailed hellscapes._ He was an absurd artist
I'll never buy any of the scenes where Doug is interacting with himself like old critic and new critic or writer Doug and NC etc. It's implying a level of introspection that I just don't believe is really there and seeing comments praise it as sincere and smart baffle me.
Not many stayed this relevant in the game for like 20 years without any REAL controversies. Guy is a damn legend and super nice guy in private life. Hats off to you Nerd. One of the best and most original content creators ever.

I agree on the fact of Guts being an asshole being on purpose,the whole "guardians of desire " arc is worth watching (im stretchin' sorry) just for that vignete of Guts not only crying,POUTING,the whole edgelord masquerade falls and he turns almost into a kid,he even looks younger.
Also, people the nerds age don’t care about Kingdom Hearts. Most of the people criticizing the show are much younger than the host and the initial demographic. Online gamers didnt exist when the show came out. Hes not reviewing things from Gen Z’s childhood because they’re still children. Maybe this isn’t for you.
Fantastic video. I was introduced to Gorillaz between Phase 2 and 3, and I loved exploring the phase 3 website so much. I remember loving how I never knew what to expect when I started a new song, and I was on the fringes of the fan base and didn't realise people weren't crazy about the new sound. I remember listening to Humanz and loving how different it was, and then finally seeing people dislike how little of it was Damon Albarn and how some songs were almost entirely the features, and I was so confused! I thought "so many of their songs have always been like this" and didn't understand. The warping of a single defining genre was part of the appeal... It's nice hearing from someone who's a real big fan, I knew phase 3 was turbulent but never knew a lot of the details, but I can certainly say I'm glad they're back :)
How is it possible for a human to speak so quickly without realizing she is completely incoherent. I really tried to follow what she considered to be words but it was just to difficult and i gave up 37 seconds into her 30 minutes video.

Doug was a God in my eyes back in the day, but even the most hardcore fans hated this shit. Basically all of the content he made since “retiring” the critic the first time, is trash. Great video
I cant quite remember if it was jurassic world or scooby doo that was the last straw for me. I havent been able to watch a video of his since - and sure wasnt inspired to start back up after changethechannel - im one of those who preferred the old style and i mistakenly believed that rather than call out the crap that id just stop watching. Show them with your wallet, so to speak. Thing is that doesnt work because i, and fans like me, were very quickly replaced with a new audience. The show wasnt FOR me anymore
I absolutely love this video :) i have been a Berserk fan since i was 11, I had a dreamcast and Dad thought i would like a tall man slice through monsters. he was right lol then he let me rent the 97' anime from Blockbusters and have been a huge fan since. i resonate with the struggles and hardships Guts an crew go through, so it holds a special place in my heart. I hope we get a better anime then 2016 :(
Berzerk started back in 1989. I don’t feel like we lost the creator too soon because he had plenty of time to work on the series and could have ended it years ago or at the very least advanced the story farther then it currently is.
great video i remember liking plastic beach as a teen, and it always felt like i was unfulfilled now i know why with the studio doing those things and what not. Funny enough i think it's interesting that a lot of fans dislike Humanz i thought it was alright but i find myself listening to Cracker Island more here in 2024. Looking forward to that video
This video was good except for the reddit portion. I'm not saying that they're right, but I'm confused about why this portion of the video is here. I think it would've been better if you talked about what the other portion of the community thinks not just reddit, because I always think it's pretty weird for people to talk about a bad community and only talk about reddit. I just think it was weird that you were surprised about what redditors say about things.

Ma’am, this is not “oh I regret how much sexual assault i put it the series.” This is an acknowledgement of how creative liberal the 80s and 90s allowed mangakas to be. Miura acknowledges that he would push that boundary, thinking it would be rejected or require revision, only for it to be greenlit. He questions whether or not him testing those boundaries and not limiting and censoring himself as an artist was really necessary (mind you, not *detrimental,* just necessary), but that those were the choices he made given what mangaka were allowed to do. There is no “regretting.” In that interview he thinks about, if Berserk were made now, what the series would be given that that level of expressive freedom is no longer the case. But he, at the end, acknowledges that Berserk was very much a product of its time, and as a result that’s what Berserk is. The “sorry!” he gives at the beginning of his answer is a light-hearted apology, given the rest of his answer is prefaced with a “but” It was not a question of “does Miura regret how much SA he put in the beginning of the series.” It’s a question of “if the creative liberties afforded to mangaka back in the day were instead replaced with the more obvious restrictions today, would we get the same Berserk?”
