One thing I've noticed during my lifetime is that TV shows seem to be cramming more action into an equal amount of time. Where you used to have longer scenes with more silence, the audience as well as the directors now tend to think: we/you have got the picture, let's fast-forward. Watching Turn-On and imagining this being aired in '69, I can't help but think it must've move way too fast for people in that day and age. It peaks my interest that this did not seem to be a complaint, though. I love to be able to see this! Too many nice (or interesting) things are lost to time.
