Two years of dialing in the time signature and sonically nailing it down! This is it! You’re back brother keep your crew tight can’t wait to see you live hell yes!
OK all in all this could be the best arranged & performed harmony vocals on any YT band video = of course they are Todd;s (underrated, poetic) lyrics and sweet chord changes - in this era of autotune & actual fake concert vocals, here the old school IE legit bar is reset, for 2024 Todd - he's got an autotune fixer in his head, the result he comes up with (he takes ibuprofin, prior to show) is the real shit we grew up on.
🤩🤙. 'Fires of Unknown Origin' was, to me, best album, but hey Don't Fear..., Godzilla was the anchors of this harmonic, dark, innovative group of musicians!! Again🤩🤙
These guys are a joke. The singer needs high heeled boots and longer hair, the guitarist sounds like he's been playing for about 4 years or so, the other 2 are average. Baby Aerosmith and Zeppelin band.
I had decided not to go to the June 6 show in Atlanta after I saw the set list. Since then I keep reading comments from many who say it was the best show they’d ever seen. Just today I decided I didn’t want to miss it & was thrilled to find 2 front row seats (NOT cheap!) for the Chattanooga 10/7 show. My husband told me to go ahead & buy them & he’d go with me (he’s not a Todd fan). After he fell asleep I decided to check it out online, found this & watched it to the end. I love Todd…even popped to spend 5 days in Virginia for his 70th birthday. It was great! Still, I have to agree with those here among the disappointed. Absolutely nothing about this show made me want to drive 3 hours to see it live. Was there even an encore? I just didn’t feel any of the usual energy & excitement I’m accustomed to feeling at his concerts. And of all the fabulous songs he could’ve chosen, so many favorites fans love to sing along with, the set list was seriously lacking. And you all know it does no good to holler requests. He never takes requests. Anyway, It pains me to say it, but he’s beginning to really slow down, and it shows here. I’m glad I didn’t pull the trigger on those front row seats. I love you Todd, Kasim, Prairie Prince & Michele. Thank you for a lifetime of out-of-this-world music! See you all next round!!!
Met buck and eric bloom...bouchard bros and allen lanier along with patti smith cape cod coliseum 1975 outside a locker room/dressing room i was 14 lasting memories lasting my life most underrated band of that great era for sure...
Hey Doug; Met Buck and Al Bouchard in college and formed a bar/frat band in 1965. Then met Les Braunstein and Rick Bloom in totally unrelated circumstances. Bouchard’s nephew married my best friend’s daughter (again totally unrelated). So, I am the happy recipient of all this crazy coincidence.
I went to the Reno show in July and it was awesome to see them again. Buck is such a great guitarist… he always adds some fresh improvisation and playfulness in his solos.
His voice sounds good no question about that It was the songs on the last few albums that sucked so bad He was very unprofessional by spitting on bandmates Love the voice and always have from beginning
