they combined the best of everything that was punk...and had street cred that the Clash never had...they would be playing stadiums if tragedy didn't strike....
Imagine telling your kids now you had to wait until Thursday night at 830pm to see your favorite artist on the telly. Their little heads would explode. 😂😂😂
Always loved this track but didn't know Midge was on it. Don't think he got the credit for feed the World that all went to and was readily accepted by that interloper.
Least these boys could play! Every pub in Hackney E5 London forever played these tunes! RIP Paul & the genius M. Never surrender ! N4 summer days lol 😆 😅 🙃 Uk 🇬🇧
Solid track but very clearly displays the disconnect between the music, its themes and the angst behind it, whilst attempting to be tolerable enough to be commercial. In other words, it's so painfully restrained and nuetured especially compared to their peers. The cover by Gallows brings that aggression forward.
OK, musically it was mimed, but unusual to see Thin Lizzy without a Les Paul! Regardless, always good to see any performance of them. Huge bonus with it being with the late, great Kenny Everett.
