I remember, when I was a little girl..my mom took a piece of fabric & wrapped it around my waist & then my sister. The next thing I knew I was trying on a completed pleated skirt she had sewn by hand in mins. How today I love pleats & large collars. The fabric color was gray.! My sewing journey physically began in high school. Now when I sew, I’m in my comfort/relaxed mode. I truly appreciate the vintage as well as others. I would like to share w/ others what will develop through my present sewing journey.

Please iron the pattern pieces or the fit will be off. Do you have a fit mannequin? I always make a muslin to make adjustments and that will be my master pattern.

I got my catalog this week! What a luxurious collection. I'm loving these fall colors. That faux stretch leather is amazing. 🔥And those chenille and sherpa knits! Wow!! Know me 2046 looks like an outfit I made in 1978 for a high school senior trip to D.C. The tunic was made of irregular stripe brown knit and the pants I made were solid brown. I bought this pattern (nostalgia) but I don’t think I’ll make it.🤷🏾♀️

Such lovely fabric & great tutorial for those just starting to sew. I’m in the UK & just waiting for our ambassador to send me the labels to sew on. I made five popover sun dresses last year & four completed so far with another six cut out. I’ve also downloaded Alisa’s pattern with the grown on sleeves & hope I can make a couple of these.😊
