Speaking of prayers , I do pray but sometimes I wonder what else I can pray about, for whom, etc. is it enough to include things I say in my prayers? Hope in your video, ya can help explain. Thanks.
Father. I've watched your vid message on confession. I am troubled and have a question I need greatly to get to confession, sacraments vut i am hearing impaired right now( hope and pray it'sa recoverable short thing, waiting during lent? ( But sad) So.. so question is how can I feel forgiven if I can't get to a priest!? I couldn't hear him anyway also stress in other housemates not on same page. We all went to Catholic school, but there's a gap.** Lent is rough it teaches
I always thank Jesus for all His gifts, graces and blessings. Then I pray for all the holy souls in purgatory, holy mother church and so on. I pray for my family and I see myself sitting with Him on a bench and spend time with Him until the priest puts the rest f the hosts into the tabernacle.
Don't forget the Souls in Purgatory. They won't forget you. In fact, many believe that they will be there to welcome you into Blessed Eternity. Orémus Y'all.
This is really a helpful tools to use after receiving holy communion. Seems there is too many prayers to use but it helps me to see that it does not matter but to continue communion with Jesus. thank you for this vblog,
Thank you Fr. Mike. Nick Corbett and I got a lot out of your homily today. God bless you. Do you have a recomendation for a good ASL translation video for the Sunday readings we can use to get ready for Sunday Mass?
I recall that story with fond memories. When I was a little girl, I learned that when God calls you to listen same with parents. Now I see a deeper version of that story. Thank you for sharing this with us. God bless you. 🙏
Maybe we could observe the instructions of the Roman Missal? The Communion Procession and reception of Communion are not private moments. The song during the procession is our prayer. OUR prayer. Our communal prayer. Your music ministers must be aware of this and plan appropriate music for this procession. After all have received, if time permits, private prayer can be entered into. But the Mass itself is our public prayer. One could easily enter into private prayer in the other 167 hours in the week.
We truly believe in the Eucharist as the body and blood of Christ. I have a story I was told of a local priest during mass when he raised the Eucharist that blood ran down his hands. Next time I talk with you I will tell you about it.
Blessed Holy Week. The Triduum is a beautiful time in our Liturgical year: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday (Easter Vigil evening Mass, we have 21 ppl getting Baptized, RCIA,) & finally, Easter Sunday, when Christ is risen! Allelujah. 🙏🙏🙏 ❤ 🤟 ❤
Yes and I have that book a friend gave me two days ago I haven’t start reading it yet. And it reminds me to share my favourite Bible verse - Proverbs 3:5-6 (Trust in the Lord…) ☺️
Thank you Father. A hello from the Saskatoon Diocese Deaf Community who always watch your videos during the communion meditation. God Bless you this Advent Season and please keep doing this important work.
No trinity exists- It's VERY VERY EASY to disprove the Trinity, the emperor has no clothes!! Jesus is supposed to be in an EXTREMELY CLOSE UNION with TWO divine Persons: the Father and the Holy Spirit. Thus, if the trinity existed Jesus would have to CONFIRM THAT and state something as "I am with (1) the Father and (2) the Holy Spirit". But Jesus in the whole FOUR GOSPELS DISCLOSURE always states to be ONLY WITH THE FATHER. This is made both IMPLICITLY, for ex. "I am in the Father and the Father in me" and EXPLICITLY, for ex. "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me". Jesus NEVER states to be with TWO other divine persons, He always refers to the Father only! Thus, you are supposed to simply accept the FACT that Jesus is ACTUALLY only with the Father. Father and Son. But this means that no triune God exists. Hence the trinity doctrine is disproved by the most qualified witness: Jesus. What about the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is with Jesus, but since ONLY THE FATHER IS WITH JESUS, this means that THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FATHER, who indeed is A SPIRIT ("God is a spirit" Jn. 4:23,24). In other words Jesus has the "Father who is a spirit" and calls Him either "Holy Father" or "Holy Spirit" according to circumstances. The latter name is the "spiritname" of that spirit who is the Father, in order to be able TO IDENTIFY HIM among other spirits. This means that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit means blasphemy against the Father. He is "greater than Jesus", this is why that blasphemy is considered more severe by Jesus.
