Its pretty annoying that if you say, supply one locker with iron from various extractors then you can't have drones collect the iron in the locker for other purposes because its supply OR demand. Why on earth make it that way?
All ships will crash due to alien device causing tech issues on ships systems and you can't leave the planet tell its disabled. Yet you can send up rockets for trading and terraforming the planet ... hmmmm ...
Cheers dude for the guide.... on a side note, not ENTIRELY sure why the crystals cant be mined/traded for/crafted when they're a FINITE resource and are pretty much essential for end game (like leaving the planet). once they're spent, they're gone for good.
Appreciate this. The back storyline is so heartbreaking but captivating to discover. Following the coordinates so far has me at the north west area on a ledge.. seems I still have many steps to follow, according to your map.
For sure there is a memory leak within this game, it's slow but does happen. A full restart of the game really helps every couple of hours, also moving stuff like bee and butterflies to somewhere else really helped.(out of sight out of mind)
How to do it effectively: Autocraft drones, setup delivery to the drone station. So drones can deliver drones as demand increases. And of course, make a bunch of drone stations, 1:50 drones or so.
My game is going smoothly but whenever I look at the direction where the ancient paradise is that’s when the lag starts. When I look away from the ancient paradise the game runs smoothly
I'm not even using drones yet, and barely have a fraction of the stuff you got, not to mention I lowered the graphic settings to like medium and still experience lots of stuttering in my base.☹
oof, sounds like you could have something else going on? if you start a fresh save in creative mode is everything nice and smooth? you could enable all BPs and free crafting and maybe play around with building stuff and see if a specific building is causing a problem for you. beehives and flower spreaders seem to be a bit funky to me
no mods. as long as theyre within range of the auto crafter (20 meters) they should just grab them up, same with plants in growers/farms. Drones should also grab them as well without setting them as a supply
I get about 10 or 12 drones then some just start sitting at the drone base even though there are things waiting to be moved around. Anyone else have that happen?
You don't have enough docking stations to support your drones or you're using the stations to store junk which also makes it where drones can't dock and reset their tasks.
check for storage constraints. remember that drones aren't predictive so they won't know something is about to be consumed from a container with an autocrafter. if youre auto crafting you'll want at least lockers if not t2 lockers being used to make sure there's enough space to allocate more drones.
Both the uranium caves will work with extractors, but youll need to use t2 or t3 and there are a few spots on the edge of the cave that look like they're inside, but don't mine uranium. I think the eastern one is more friendly for extractor placement
If you made the mistake of using the supply all option a TON of times, you could edit your save file to change them, but that process is complex/fiddly by itself and you may be better off just manually fixing your machines. I also hope that the devs improve performance over time because tbh it gets quite bad at a scale that isn't all that unexpected for many players to pursue even though it's fine within what you need to do to 'beat' the game for all endings. Still the game is new and the team is small so I'm hopeful it will improve!
it's basically a 'supply all' option adding every item as a supply so you don't have to click each one. useful for generic drop boxes. but over-using seems to cause hitching if you use it as a shortcut for hundreds of supply containers. found that out the hard way :D
You can do portals extremely fast but it's kinda cheating... use f4 on repeat to fly through ceilings walk over to the vaults drop below them use f4 to get into them. It's a super fast way to get to 500k but is kinda abusing the game mechanics which is i assume a no for most people.
hmm that doesn't sound right, hopefully its not a bug. Are they currently blocked by a full inventory of honey? is some drone scooping up the bee larvae and running away with it? When you check the beehives are they just all 4 slots full of honey?
seems my reply got auto-modded by youtube a few times and Im not sure why :/ set a container to demand t1 drones and they'll get dropped off eventually. then put them into a recycler for their parts
