This beautiful piece of heaven we played as the recessional music for my sons funeral in May. It worked as a salve to our shattered hearts as he was cruelly murdered.
When Mrs Alison Balsom & Mr Iestyn Davies like earthly angels, under the rule of Sir Trevor Pinnock, as ascended master Enoch, show us the path to the Divinity, which lies dormant in each of us! It's just a divine moment, which even a Frenchman knows how to appreciate to its fullest extent!
Alison looks absolutely out of this world. I don't know how to put it - it feels she is somewhere out there, listening to something and experiencing something we the mortals are never able to. Thank you for this opportunity to have a glimpse of Heaven.
This is utterly ravishing. It didn't need the busy visuals, though, which are completely at odds with the timeless beauty of the music and the performance. Putting "Alison Balsom" in huge capitals at the start and then "with Iestyn Davies" in tiny font at the end of the opening credits seems strange. Iestyn Davies wasn't there as an accompanist. I was a bit surprised to read in the blurb that Alison Balsom is the world's pre-eminent female classical trumpeter. Ms Balsom, I know nothing about the trumpet, so my opinion counts for very little, but I don't think that I have heard a man play better than this...
Can I just be clear and say I tried twice now to play this song and almost at the exact same time it went to a commercial and after the commercial it didn't even resume this pan music. I am getting really tired of RU-vid and youbillshit! Going to Spotify now because they are not a pain in my royal a$$. Bye. Sorry you're not getting more views. You can thank shattube.
Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne - Ambrose Philips Eternal source of light divine With double warmth thy beams display And with distinguish'd glory shine To add a lustre to this day.
She is talented trumpet player in the world. Brillant sound! Performance of natural trumpet is so difficult. But her pitch of trumpet is perfect. Amazing! wonderful! I love her performance.
