Coming from a saints fan: Troy, Emmitt, Michael Irvin and company were really good players but with all that said...fck the cowboys...and yes LA fans in general are very fair weather, bandwagoning fans...that we can agree on
This was so powerful today! I love these honest talks are so powerful church happened while I watched so moving ! To Ryan you are not alone however at least you have Ben to clear the path of the vision of GOD I believe your walk will get better and I see How deep this relationship is which makes it even more powerful for everyone!
I am very touched by you taking the time and the effort to answer and I am also watching on Spotify and share personally through friends it meant a lot to me I appreciate Ben’s interpretation of my question so thank you for understanding what I meant. When I watch I feel like it’s the silent friend watching the two besties talking back and forth and it’s great! Shout out to whom said they would get you two too answer the questions feeling very blessed love y’all and the show 🎉❤
Hi! Avid viewer of your podcast... jst curious on your take during the video regarding food tasting in the origin country than the original... i 50/50 agree that some food in the original place is less tasty than other countries but wouldnt it be a more accurate agreement of it if u have explored every cities in thtat originl country than just one even if its the main one... for example, if its Korean food, isnt it better to explore not just Seoul but others like Busan, Daegu, Jeju, Suwon and more before making a decision if its bwttwr or not... u think its the same with other cultural food as well... just my take but thks!!
Hello Ilham Sahin. Thank you for watching. I agree 100%, the more you explore, better is the data pool to review food - good, bad, better or worse. But sharing our experiences become the first step that leads to great recommendations. Let us know if you have any.
You’re absolutely right, I’m sure they have dishes that are waaaaay better then LA. We’re just speaking in general. With the info that we have thru the network of thousands and thousands of other Koreans who are connected thru social media and what not, collectively agree that overall LA has better Korean food than Korea.
@@RyGuyAlwaysDIE420 understand what u mean totally with your connections from other Koreans and their views... its just for me a bit weird that a small town like LA Koreatown can be as good or better than the WHOLE country like South Korea cause tbh, i thought Koreatown was big but after looking at the world map, its really2 small... i guess maybe you are use to the Korean food taste in LA as compared to Korea... Thks again for replying and cheers!
@@conversasians_pod also i dont knw why but its just a culture of comparing which foods better tin that place, city or country to the other one... like i currently live in Singapore and our food with our neighbor, Malaysia is exactly the same but we still compare whos food is way better... sometimes i dont understand but it is what it is... i guess its the same for u guys comparing culture especially with foods, hahaha... cheers!
Thank you for watching and having your friends join. Def not our intention to attack any listener. Let me know who and what they did and it will not happen again.
@@conversasians_pod I’m so sorry you thought I was being serious . I love everyone on the show and I am not actually feeling attacked I am sorry to make the joke please know I love the show and will stay supporting ♥️
@@conversasians_pod I think they should do a cross interview meaning let a guest bring 5 questions to ask Ben and Ryan Then take 5 questions from sources like here and other platforms social media wise but keep the rest naturally organic that’s my favorite part of the show My first question would be what is everyone’s biggest fear and why this question promotes talking about it and analyzing it and they always have such great back and forth! 2. Would be what have you learned that can’t be taught about life? 3. Whom do you really want to interview!???? 4. What is something you wanted but have yet to have? 5. In their lives whom are their ROOTS ( meaning the analogy of the tree we have Roots the people that have stayed in our lives and by our side )?
@@conversasians_pod this made my day thank you I think he called you Mark for getting them to answer and Ben’s interpretation of my questions were spot on ! You guys are the best !!! Appreciate y’all
Ben don't look Filipino, please~ He looks either Chinese, Korean or Vietnamese. teehee. And about Tinnitus, I have it too. The ENT specialist don't even know the exact cause of it and "judging" from all the info I fed the Dr. with, it's maybe TMJ issue, stress and too much loud music/noise (like how Mike explained it). It's annoying especially in the silence of the night. T__T Hope you guys will meet some cool chicks (speed dating) and live happily ever after soon. Hwaiting! Can I request for Ben's Omma to be on the podcast, please? just kidding~
erm...... Ryan..... I don't think you're racist but... LOL! If you are in Malaysia, you might die rolling on the street listening to all sorts of accent. English with "unique" grammar too. Or maybe if you're in Asia, you might not find the accent funny ? hmmm... Thanks for the podcast. ✌
@@RyGuyAlwaysDIE420 no, not one or similar because it's super multiracial and cultural here. All sorts of interesting accents. I'm catching up from epi 1 to 3 a.t.m. Good podcast. Thank you!
Hey fellas. Resonated with this one a lot. I grew up in LA, went to a Korean-American church, and have spent the last decade deconstructing and reconstructing my faith, with a deeper understanding of sociological thoughts, through my work in academia. Ben, when you were reflecting on your parents and the church it reminded me of this concept called the "Cycle of Socialization", and how we are influenced by our parents and then by institutions like the church to socialize us to think "what normal is". Anyway, keep up the good work. Would love to connect with you guys.
Man. Thank you. We appreciate you and it help us to hear that from Time to time. It’s a very tough thing to get into but Ryan and Ben are taking one episode at a time. 🙏🏽
They’re old. 40+, Plus if you are curious to see what they’re actually talking about, watch the full episode. Without context, you kind of sound goofy. 😅😂
I agree with Ryan...alcohol is a poison...Gonna share a personal thing...my oldest son who is only 27-years-old is an alcoholic, he has been hospitalized twice now due to his liver being inflamed and even that has not made him quit, he is at a point where if he doesn't drink he could die, but when he was in the hospital it was a detox so he could have stopped both times but for whatever reason that I don't understand he hasn't, he just trys to hide it but i'm his mom, I know. I use to be against cannibus, now I know it is so much better and nothing compared to alcohol, I WISH that is all he did, I even have my other son who has his med card buy it for him hoping it will deter him from drinking...it doesn't.... Not sharing for advice because I know the only thing that will make my son quit is because he WANTS to, but i'm still open to suggestions. Just wanted to say I agree with Ben too no substance is best but for sure cannibus is so much better than alcohol
Thank you for sharing with us Jess. So sorry to hear you and your son going thru that. It’s hard with addicts. I have a close friend that went thru similar situation like your son and I def didn’t approach the situation with love and respect. Instead of being there for him I just attacked him for falling off the wagon. I hope your son gets the help that he needs.
@@RyGuyAlwaysDIE420 Thank you Ryan I appreciate that. I want to be the same and not be there to help my son, only because I think it would make him change what he is doing but I just can't bring myself to be harsh or not help him, but I feel like I am enabling him. I told him the last time he lived with me it was the last time because of the drinking....well he is now living in my home again because he had no where else. I don't know hopefully things will work them selves out or something, I can only hope.....
Hello Jess. Thank you for sharing and sorry to hear your son is going through that. What I’ve experienced is we need to show support but help needs to come from professionals. A program, for example like AA is a great and will do wonders if he’s willing and ready to get help. We can’t really grasp the struggle our loved ones go through as addicts. All we can do is support them so they keep on trying. When they fall and want to get back up we should be cheering them on. Cheering you on to never give up hope. We have a link in our description for the national helpline that provides a lot of information that you may find useful. Good luck Jess.
Yes Ligers are real, yall didn't watch the Tiger King LOL....but yes they really are it's from a male lion and female tiger. I got to see them in person there huge and beautiful, they also had Liligers which is offspring from a male lion and female Liger. I love listening to you guys, love how real both yall are 🙂
I care...To be honest I subscribed because of Ben, have always wanted to hear about him and yeah on Kinjaz podcast he's the interviewer so never really hear about him, and I only know about Kinjaz because of Ben!! So I love this so much! And I didn't know who you was Ryan lol, I know you're a Kinja 🙂but i'm glad you both are doing this because I really like you too, I agree on a lot you have both said. You are both awesome guys seriously. And it would be cool to hear about your producer too lol
🫰🏼thank you for listening. Ben and Ryan have been friends for a long time and they’re finding out new things about each other. The producer is not a fan of how he sounds so it may take some time.
