I have been working with UNI-T equipment for years. For example I have a UT-595 for measuring electrical installation parameters and a UT-522 for measuring earthing resistance. Additionally, other meters necessary for an electrician's work. In Poland, the Polish company Sonel is extremely popular among professional electricians (and it is truly high-end equipment), which offers a cable detector/locator similar to the one presented here. The advantage of UNI-T is primarily the price, which is one third of the price of Sonel. I had the opportunity to test both devices and in no case does UNI-T compromise in quality. Hi Dear, Thank you for reaching out. Yes, it's normal for the UTi722M to produce a clicking sound and experience slight lag when capturing images with significant temperature differences. This is due to the camera's automatic calibration process to ensure accurate temperature readings.
I have the UT325F and the Android app. I set interval to 1 sec and measurement time to 10 minutes, but in most cases when I click the orange "Play' button at the bottom to start recording it stops by itself only records a single reading. It doesn't show the "Stop" button but just shows the "Restart" and "Save" buttons. Any idea what could be the issue?

Hi Dear, Thanks for reaching out! We understand the convenience of saving both thermal and real-life photos simultaneously. Currently, our E/G/J series (UTi720E, UTi730E, UTi256G, UTi384G, UTi384J, UTi640J) thermal cameras offer this functionality. After capturing a thermal image, you can also save a corresponding visible light image of the same scene. Unfortunately, this feature isn't yet available on all UNI-T series, they need to switch to different modes to shoot separately.

bought a new 207b clamp meter, experiencing minor issues with the display when in voltmeter mode. whether on AC or DC, values are displayed to the right of the decimal point; 220v shows up as 0.220v, doesn't matter when i change the range. is there a way to fix this?

Don't buy this. It does not work very well at all. Nothing like the video shows. It is extremely slow and seems to pick up false signals. It is USELESS. I bet this will be discontinued soon.

Because UT171C has higher accuracy and can detect a wider range of waveforms, it can detect PWM simulated waveforms so need LPF mode to filter high-frequency signals. It cannot automatically measure because it has a wide detection range and cannot know which waveform you want to detect. Just like different multimeters have different ranges, in order to obtain accurate measurement results, you need to manually switch the range.

Why you never made windows app for this brilliant camera?? nearest competetors like infiray t2s plus, or hikmicro mini 2 plus have Windows app. I need for our company workshop about 30 or 40 of these for PCB control, but we use windows desktops, so probably will go for t2S plus then, however we do love unitrend equipment and have a lot of it (((
