I like the fit of your cardi, I am pear shaped so I have a difference of two sizes from shoulders to high hip so I know exactly what you mean. Ragland has been great but sometimes I like a more tailored fit.
I feel really bad for your unpleasant health journey. I know 2 people who have lost their spouse from heart attack because the ambulance didn‘t come, in the Midlands. Getting into the NHS system is horrific, though the quality is generally medically good once you‘re in, but definitely not always. So many horror stories from friends and my own experience with my mother and grandmother, it makes me so angry. A few months ago I experienced a medical emergency in Switzerland that was the polar opposite… but in bigger cities it‘s not perfect here, either, we are lucky to be in a smaller town with a brand new hospital like a 5* hotel 😮 - even if you only have basic insurance (we do pay for that, it‘s the only obligatory cost of living…). I know where I‘d rather be 😳 Embla is just such s cutie, she must make up for a lot, living in the UK 🫣 I couldn‘t do it any more 🥴
A friend has both given birth without medication and passed a kidney stone. She says the kidney stone was much worse. Embla is just so adorable. I have one dog that fits the stereotype. If I'm ill, she is very concerned and very gentle (Newfoundland). The other dog? I swear he becomes even more hyperactive than usual (Gordon Setter) and he bounces off me with his front feet like he's trying to shake whatever is wrong out of me. "C'mon Mom! Get up. You're OK."
Really appreciate your comprehensive review. As a person who works mostly on pony needles and love them they work great for me Im satisfied and Ive done magic loop as well. 😅 because only ones at my local yarn store and I don’t tend to buy stuff online so. But I wouldn’t recommend pony bamboo straight needles my first set why is the tip like someone nibbled it 😭😭and theyre curved ive nit even used them much.

I know that pain and I've given birth (last one was so painful and scary). I can share that it's probably the only thing that comes close to the pain of child birth is having a kidney stone. And, naturally, it's different for everyone so kidney stone might be worse for some.

Drevo would look absolutely gorgeous as a vest. Tati has couple vest patterns with similar construction and i think the worst case, you could turn it into a very cool vest ❤

Our projected high is 30°C/87°F today and that is a break and very low for this time of year. Our first two days of school this week were both over 100°F. I usually love where I live, but July-September with triple-digit heat gets harder to deal with every year. However, being that we have AC everywhere, I can knit year-round - the silver lining.
I think Teti is very clever, I made the Bifurca vest last winter that has a similar construction to Drevo and I really fancy doing that, too. I was a bit hesitant if it will suit my biggerbusted rounded frame. I did just finish her Javelin in the cropped version, another nice pattern. On the Bifurca I found there was too much fabric in the sides under the arms at the end so I sewed a big dart into it, so be careful with sizing! Mine is forest green, love the Drevo green 💚 Always happy to see Embla updates 🐶❤️🤗
Oh no , sorry to hear you had Covid. Yes, I thought it was gone after they came out with a vaccine and boosters for it 4 yrs ago. Your project is stunning , I do hope you find yarn to finish . I had never seen that pattern before, might have to look for it.
I also have been only knitting from stash this year. I thought I would never knit through it in my life time. I am now 75. But I have madw great progress this year. I have finished 6 sweaters so far this year. I am currently working on the cordelia. It is a fingering weight all over cable swester and is taking a long time. I have 7 more invhes on the nody to go. Then finish short sleeves, rib collar and bottom ribbing. The pattern repeat is 6 rounds and I sm trying to do 1 ree3at a day. Thank you for saying whst Dr. Wou you are wstching. I want to wstch and started from season 1. I THINK I SAW THIS WHEN I WAS A KID!

Another puppy comment. Several family puppies teethed my wooden knitting needles. They particularly liked bamboo. You think I would have learned after the first puppy.
I thought I would never likeva granny square sweater. Having grown up in the 60's I always picture bright garish sweaters. Your prairie squares is gorgeous. I just put it in my favoutites. Yes it is too warm to weat knit wear. 30 C here today.
I love schnauzers. My younger son bred his for three litters. My brother bought one of these. When we lost our yorkie my husband and I decided we were too old to start again. A friend brought usva 4 yesr old mini schnauzer. We had her for many yesrs when she gotba serious kidney disease andvafter spending several thousand doloars, finally decided to put her down. So no dog for us now. Mini schnauzers are great and Embla is do cute. Luvky you.
