I was unaware of the 15 hour limit a month so was enjoying an Audiobook, it cut off and then received an email detailing why. Such an odd system, I appreciate it as an added bonus as I was already paying for my Spotify premium and will continue to do so, but that is so annoying and is a massive problem if they seriously wish to contend with audible. Also the lack of chapter names is a limit and a lack of factoring in play speed when calculating time left in book. Like who listens at just 1x speeds?
It sounds really good. Kelly doesn't like to wait till the next month, but she can just read another book till the next month and then read it. Problem solved.
Does google play also do audio books? I am thinking of leaving Amazon, because can’t download books via the app, like if wanna read on the go. I’ve noticed the same for Kobo.
I have just cancelled KU. I have really enjoyed using it. On the tablet home page was a header that said library and I usually had 10 books in it. That way I didn't have to go online so often. Then one day my library disappeared. I spent several hours with 3 different customer service technicians to no avail. The next day I tried again and a technician said "Amazon removed the library from all fire tablets." Now I am only able to get one book at a time. For me KU is a waste of my time and money. They did something similar to Amazon movies
Why do they limit your time spent on audiobooks? The cynic in me immediately says "so they can charge you 13 bucks after you're hooked on the book". Anyone have a better answer?
Is this Kindle/Audiobook the biggest scam of Amazon of all times? Since when it is okay to charge twice for the same book, once for Kindle and once for Audible? You pay the monthly fee for Audible, then choose a book for 1 credit point, then you STILL have to buy the book on Kindle if you wanted to read it as well. And this information took me half a day to figure out as Amazon keeps you in the dark about it.
You should have pointed out that if a book costs less than 7.99 your able to buy the book separately as the subscription isn't the only way to buy books. You can buy books on a pay-as- you-go basis too, just like Apple Books. There's many books for less than 3 pounds on the service. Your video doesn't mention that every book has two purchase options, but you imply that the token subscription is the only way to buy books on Audible. you also didn’t mention that another benefit of the audible subscription is that you get 30% off every pay-as-you-go book. So even if a book costs just £3, you will get 30% off that book as an audible subscriber. I can only assume that you either didn’t do your research or are trying to make Apple Books look better than it is by not explaining all the many benefits of audible

If I cancel Kindle Unlimited (I'm on trial now), can I keep the books that I have downloaded to read on kindle unlimited, or is kinda like the library, you're just borrowing them?
In my opinion storytel is much better, yes their collection can be a bit lacking. Unfortunately there are some books I’ve wanted to read that they didn’t have, but this app is definitely the Netflix of audio books and they do have a big variety of books.
It seems my Apple Books does not have a lot of the common books like the 48 laws of power. Is there something I am doing wrong or this’s actually what it’s?
I was using this app on my ipad for reading and highlighting academic books which i downloaded as pdfs ...but then one of the books has stopped opening...i dont know whats wrong, it just says- cannot open xyz document... Has this happened with anyone else??
Okay but, when you buy an audiobook from them, like I bought a 16 dollar audio book. Am I still limited by the 15 free hours since I bought the book?? Or can I just listen to that book no matter the hours I have ? Cause that’s messed up if I’m still limited ??
I just got audible because i was under the impression that that was possible. The audio books that are in KU even highlight the text as its read. I just wanted to do both at the same time without having to switch apps! I assumed audible would work the same since it is also an Amazon app
Recently got back into reading and apple books cloud syncing and UI is great. The store is lacking for my field of study at times but has come a long way. Ovreall i'd give it a 8/10

The first sentence you Said, I was like, yeah I found that out the hard way. Everyone always talks about Audible and says it's so amazing, but no one ever clarified that you can only get 1, or maybe 2 books per month. I did not know this until I joined and had to find out for myself. Audible is basically acting like a middle man for buying the book because the cost of the membership per month is around the cost of 1 discounted book. I'm not mad because I'll at least finish one book before moving on to the next. But I just fear even after sampling, I might end up not liking the book
