Doing this was the best choice i ever made, helped me a lot see my real style by logging my outfits, helped me decluter things I thought I loved and used, i did not love them or use them I just didnt hate them haha, but it helped me so much achieve a good style
I don’t consider RU-vid to be a social media platform in the same way as Instagram, TikTok and the likes. I regard it more like tv. Tv is addictive too. Be mindful to watch your time spent on it and Netflix. Reading, hobbies and interacting with real people are far more wholesome.
hey Nicole! tks for the video, it was so relatable! that's a true dilemma - go back to social media to improve your career or stay unplugged - what i think is that it's not certain that social media gives more career opportunities (honestly my freelance clients are mostly referenced from previous clients) but it's total certain that maintaining the use of social media while keeping a consistent sense of personal peace is very hard...
i do, i mentioned in my video that i’m experimenting with getting back on it but with intentionality. my dilemma was with the use of it for progressing my career in this day and age, though it’s not what i’d prefer
I quit Instagram 3 months ago, and quit Facebook 4 years ago. It’s only now that I realise that Instagram seems to be working via negatifying your image about yourself through ultra-idealistic content, leading to a depression based craving. Quitting Instagram literally lets me have 6 hours to myself every single day. Also, RU-vid is far better as a platform.
I'm here from the self-improvement challenge! i love how authentic you are and the whole video resonated with me -- esp that last bit of lying awake full of thoughts. Excited to see you more of you and your journey of growth! :)
i adore you and your content nic ure such a high value person and i’m so so glad we’re friends <3 i cant wait to see u flourish and grow even more than you have!
i love you, thought friend and im so proud of the words you use to encourage yourself and to remind yourself. reminders are the purest form of love one can give to anyone and one’s self. and i love how much you love you🤍
