Thank you for the video! It’s great! But may I ask, if we attach the waist stay on the lining or lining and actual dress? Please help to demystify. Thank you!
I made this seweet scrunchie headband after seeing ‘s tutorial on RU-vid! A perfect project for my scrap wedding dress fabric! Check out her amazing tutorial and others: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bMhnbiH5W-M.html Have an sewing project using scrap material? Let me know in the comments!
Hi! Hope you could see my comment. Can I ask- won’t placing the waist stay 1/4” far from the zipper will be too tight for the client since you’re subtracting 1/2” total off her waistline?
This is very helpful thanks! My daughter has asked to use my wedding dress (which I have completely cut and revamped), but I am short some pieces for the sleeves. Im using this technique and it’s working a treat 👍
You can browse and view intro videos of the courses and there are free courses as well. Right now it’s a 7-day free trial but sometimes they offer a 30 day. I would give it a try! With courses are usually an hour or two in runtime you could watch a lot in the span of a month.
If it were me, I wouldn't hem the two flounce layers, but use the charmeuse as a facing for the black flounce. Cleaner look, and the flounce might end up a tad more structured, which is ok. WDYT?
Hello from Nigeria☺️. Great job! I noticed that you removed the stick that you inserted in the middle at a point. How did you do that and still ensured that there was space in the middle for the insertion of a stand?.
@@ThreadoraGowns oh now I understand. Many thanks for your prompt response. I have learnt a lot here and I look forward to more great tutorials from you. Cheers
Can you make a course or pattern to make children sized dress forms???? I really want multiple sized ones. 4t , 6, 8, 12 , 14 or something similar. I want 4t and size 12. I want one for each size that the grading amount goes up if that makes sense or like each size group. So I want one for when the size grading is 1” then when it goes up to 1.5” another and so on for the sizes higher than 4t. And my daughters in 4t and my son is in size 12…. I want to be able to have a form to drape on for them but can grade a few sizes in between. I’ve looked everywhere and there’s not much at all… a pattern would be awesome and a one of a kind… I asked bootstrapfashion if they are going to and they said they were making a legs and mens on and don’t know about doing kids sizes.

I guess I didn’t film it because it’s so straightforward! You press down the pedal like any other machine and it starts to sew. It’s really not that complicated!

in the 50th all dresses had a waist-ribbon inside und was closed befor the zipper was closed. waist-ribbon was strong, had force to hold the measure of the waistline without forcing zipper to much
