I see you gave a lot of gain to Input 1 on 8200, is there any distortion or ‘over colored ‘ ? I’m asking because I have this confusing. The signal after going to 8200 inputs are quite low, I’m not sure if it is correct to twist knob or not.

My problem is the bass doesn't go low, I feel like the lowest note sounds like a guitar. I want at least an octave and a half below what it does, it might be good for funk or something, but for edm or hip hop it doesn't go low enough. I'll check out the string settings to see if that can fix it, but if doesn't I might just uninstall to save space.

If they ever get ARA working in native silicon, I honestly think I am going back to Logic. I have been with pro tools for 7 years and just adore it, after 20 with Logic all the way from V3.0. However the midi is still not great and I am a composer, and all those plugins having native logic midi versions is just crazy. I just still feel pro tools needs a midi overhaul. That said, for audio, wow, there's nothing like it, and if I go back to Logic I am sure I will start missing *that*. Nothing's perfect I guess!

The Bmaj7(9) - Bmin7 - Emin7 - Dmaj7(9) is a non-diatonic progression. Bmin7(9) is B, D#, F#, A ,C (it would be diatonic if it had a b5 ie F not F# and was minor) - it is not a stable progression; the 9 just adds colour / tension

Srictly G-C-A-F in key of G is 1-4-2-b7, which is why you get a Bb in key of C (in your original key of G 7 is F#)

thank you for this video, i'm stronly hesitating between the umc 1820 + ada 8200 or the digiface usb + 8200 ada. latency is very important to me since i work with a lot of VST's so I wonder if there wil be a very noticeable difference between these to audio interfaces in terms of performance on heavy projects (i work in reaper) ? Since the umc 1820 is class compliant to my understanding, it must probably be very stable already but is totalmix and the better latency of the digifacea better pick?
