Wow this just shows how hard it is to get high damage with only pure F2P sync pairs, what about regional units ? Do you think this could be more doable ?
@@sg.captain-kun6409 Yeah, for sure! For this battle, we'd have Hala/Crabominable...and they have Haymaker/Super Up/4 sync tiles. Plus, since they're physical, we can use a Screecher to help out! 600K would be doable, possibly even 1M.
@@Rokushi890 I showcased the grid on my pull video, so I know what he's got! But given that I focus on doing F2P and pull just for favorites, he's still great in my book. I'm always happy to get more flinchers regardless.
@@sg.captain-kun6409 Usually yes, but there's no good "pure" F2P that does the Super Up effect like Valerie does. Plus, Mina can't fully buff her own stats, and she takes more setup time for Attack down. I think Mawile has a higher Attack stat, too. It's possible I missed a good combo though!

It would be tough to do that for F2P Support pairs, so maybe something like boosting capacity might be a better metric for those. And thank you, again! This is very fun for me to do. @@noname-ht2kh Are you a new player? I'm a veteran player from year 1 that's been mostly F2P, and the game's always been tougher than the main series for sure, but almost always doable with F2P. This year's changed things a bit with the Ultra Battles and the new Damage Rally, but it is higher-end content aimed towards the folks that have been here a while (and the whales lol). I still haven't done well on most of those, but I'm not too worried about it 😅
Hey thanks! And yeah, at this challenge level, flinch/sleep is the way to go...I could use Region Scout pairs (e.g. Gordie) to widen the variety of strategies at play, but it's much less F2P-friendly, especially for newer players. It still beats traditional poison/trap stalling in my book anyway 😅
Virtual hugs! And yeah, these 1-in-100 Master pulls are really rough because of that...having a 26% chance of pity only is tough. Compare that to a 6.7% chance of pity for a normal scout 😓 Nowadays, I usually wait until I have about 36k to make sure I can go all the way.
@@frankly_earnest Even if I don’t get her immediately I have a plan for when I spend money on gems that will make me have enough for the select scout if things get ugly. Plus I like Lunala better than Necrozma, especially if that Necrozma is Dusk Mane
That was awesome ! It's refreshing to see "F2P Clears" without 5x poison stall. I want to improve in the game and ok, Stall is a way to win but if you do it once u can just repeat and never learn anything. I started to play early march so I have the Galar Bird Trio and everything is easy with them so I didn't learn many things. Now, as I'm a "story unit enjoyer" in every gatcha game (cause I love clearing content without money ahah), your video is amazing. You show the team build, you show the fight, and u put insight in description! I hope more people will find your channel. Instant Sub for me !

@@frankly_earnest I just have a question about BP unit like Morty and Mismagius (and others) : do you only max them with BP vouchers or do you use Candy ? As I just started to play, BP vouchers seems long to get, but it's also hard to get Candy...
@@MrSvirGamevil Good question. I max them with Candy since I've been playing for a long time and have a bunch...the only benefit is that the BP vouchers then give 4* potentials when the unit is max move level, and I still use those for eggs, etc. If I were in your shoes, I'd probably use candy to get my faves to move level 3 (for max sync grid utility), then use the BP vouchers to max them out slowly over time. But if you want to conserve candy, then go for the slow voucher approach!
