How much does that cab box aparatus weigh? Is it ungodly heavy and you have to use machines or something a couple guys could wrangle up/down? I really like the setup and the fact that its all modular. Being able to swap from cab to a half cab, pure flat bed, to having storage boxes, the possibilites are really endless i love it
This module is fairly heavy, as it was designed for him to sleep in with the interior and electrical package he requested. He has since purchased another basic module that is is not as deep that can be handled by a couple guys. He uses the smaller module daily to keep gear secure and when his dog decides he wants to go
@@nuthouseindustriesllc ahhh thanks, is it something those little truck cranes could pick up? Under 500lbs? Or is it over that weight? That other truck with the collapsible crane is a no brainer must have, or something similar to it anyway. Being able to set it up lift a motor or a generator, a fuel slip tank, the possibilities are endless and I can't believe I haven't seen that on more overland rigs, or "work" trucks. I've only ever been around the big ones that are on the big mechanic trucks. Thanks again for the reply(s), I've wanted a single cab cummins for a while but was leaning towards topper, but always liked the looks of some of the flat beds and having limitless possibilities is making me lean more towards going with a flatbed.
@@jlo7770 yes, on some of these boxes. I little truck crane could handle these with the correct set-up and height. We sell a few of those SpitzLift units on these trucks. Lifting gear when your by yourself is much easier with a small crane form SpitzLift or another brand. Really makes the truck multi-purpose. Thanks again and appreciate you watching!
Are you interested in the Australian market ? We have an explosion of American trucks here now Particularly chev & ram trucks along with gladiators and these would be a killer product to offer !
Greetings! We have dozens of these units out in our HardDeck HC flavor, many with newer options we are offering, and no known structural issues we know of to date on our HardDeck's. The unit in this video was actually the first and a prototype. He just returned form a 2 week trip on the Idaho BDR this past Sept
I hate to see a company who builds their products here in America yet they out source all of their parts and components. So sure they are hiring American workers but not supporting America industry.
We own our own aluminum dies and have our aluminum extruded locally in Ohio. We source our hardware locally and then send them to Michigan to be blackened. Our axels are manufactured Canada. Most of our rv supplies are sourced from Indiana. The plywoods that we use are also american trees and processed in American mills. Even our sandpaper is made locally. Aside from some imported electrical parts, we are as American Built as you can get.
Finally. I really don’t understand brands designing bed racks with no regards for a secured tonneau cover. Seriously, you go on a hike when you come back EVERYTHING is gone!
Or everything gets wet on the drive their so you gotta either buy all weatherproof/waterproof luggage bags or place everything inside the back seat. Wet camping cots, chairs, and clothes are the worst. If it wasn't for nuthouse, I'd be wasting money on an alu cab/smart evo canopy
I have the AEV 2.5 kit put on my 2016 Jeep Jk hard rock rubicon unlimited and all the sudden my rear right coil spring seems bent towards the front of the vehicle. And the rears seems like it’s sliding when I’m turning . Was wondering if that’s cause my turning to be sliding or sway . Also rocks side to side more going over bumps. Thanks
Shane, you may want to look to make sure coil springs are indexed/oriented correctly. The AEV coils have a specific index/orientation on the axle spring perch in their directions when installing. Also check to make sure the AEV supplied track bar and raise track bar mount with the 2.5" Lift was used and not the factory track bar. Do you have the AEV shocks supplied t=with the kit or another shock? AEV's springs and shocks are frequency tuned to play together nicely and another shock may not be optimal with the springs
I got the AEV 2.5 suspension lift that comes with bilstein shocks an coil springs that are tuned together. Also the rear track bar an it is installed . I had it put in soon as I bought the jeep 2017 . Jeff Daniels Jeep put it in . Everything seems ok but the rear passenger spring seems to be leaning in towards the front of the vehicle. Hard to explain the drive feel . It’s like all 4 wheels are turn an just takes turns it slides. An it’s rocking more then usual . I noticed the whole Jeep is un level towards the leaning spring side . Thanks for the reply . I just put synergy tie rod an drag link on an had it aligned twice sn seems nobody can get my Jeep driving like it was . I’m doing some adjusting so I’ll keep you posted thanks again.
Are all of these aluminum or do you have a steel option? I think I heard it’s 2x2 tubing. What’s the wall thickness of these? Thanks! Really cool product! I’m happy I came across this video.
All aluminum, and no options for steel. Wall thickness on our racks ranges from .125" to .25" depending on the part and application.. Thanks for watching!
Oh hell yes! Now I just need to learn how to order. The coiling bed cover and large rack system is what I need. I have a 2020 MOJAVE with a trifold hard tonneau cover. HELP! 👋🇺🇸🎯🍀😷💉💉💉👍

That spare tire slide out, do you also offer that for the T3 tech series for a Ford Tremor I am slowly building or is that just a ram box accessory? Meaning, I dont want my spare under the truck and I dont want it off the rear of my truck at this time.
How much does the setup in the initial walk around weigh? Seems like a nice setup for a hotshot driver but may cut down on payload allowed if to heavy. Also, can you add a gooseneck hitch to your bed? Again, something a hoshotter would need. Please address……
The flatbed and boxes in the video is a little over 800 lbs. Boxes and doors are all fabricated from .125" material. Main frames, long sills, I-Beams are all .25", Material thickness is chosen for durability for our builds that tend to overlanding or expedition equipped trucks. All beds are custom made to the application the client needs and weight can be reduced if needed, such as a for hotshot setup. Gooseneck trap door or a 5th wheel trap door is an option we offer to access framed mounted tow/hitch points.
