You mean the plugin? It helps a lot in VR gameplay. Without it the view is always moving a bit, now it seems like a 2d 60 fps video, but sometimes when the plugin works the image is swaying a bit. But way better than a default vr recording.
@@airsheep I have the OBX Open XR plug in so I can capture VR content from my Reverb G2. My only problem is that the video that is captured looks nothing like what I see. It is zoomed in and all I see typically is over the dash of the aircraft and out the window. I don't see the instrument panel or anything like that. Any suggestions?
@@CRAZYHORSE19682003You need two plugins for vr capture: first you need the OBS mirror plugin, the second one is the Live Vision stabilizer which is not mandatory but increases image quality. Both plugin source added to the video description. You can find tutorial videos in YT how to set up the OBS mirror to capture Reverb vr image.
I have the Reverb G2 as well. Are you using the Open XR mirror for OBS to record? If so can you help me on my settings? The mirror works well but the view it records is really zoomed in and typically you can only see just above the dash in a GA airplane for example. I need to figure out how to unzoom what the mirror is recording so I can get a nice view like yours to record.
Hi, I would like to help but unfortunately MSFS is broken and I can' t load it for a week, so I can't check my vr settings in OBS. If hou have a Facebook account I recommend the Microsoft Flight Simulator Virtual Reality group where you can ask your quesions regarding the Reverb OBS settings. facebook.com/groups/msfs2020virtualreality
Im not sure what is wrong, but there are 2 important things: set ILS runway frequency and change CDI mode from GPS to VLOC (approach mode) in the gps when you are in the final course & alt. In this case ILS freq is 109.50 (RW31R) and a STAR name is NICRA as I remember. If everything is set in the gps correctly approach mode should be working.
You need more practice landing that CowanSim MD500, thats pretty much a crash if u have crash realism set to higher settings given how hard you came down...
I agree. Just don't want to buy a new rig, its too expensive to change everything. Btw what do you recommend? I prefer Intel but I've heard that the new AMD cpus very good.
Of course there's always that one guy that has to compare one to the other. Don't call it constructive criticism either, you're just sh!tting on FS2020 itself.
Az a Góbé repülhető MSFS-ben, ami a Dunakeszi hangárnál volt? Régen MSFS-eztem, jó ez az újabb? A termiket jól szimulálja?
Thanks! specs are: i7 9700k, RTX3080, 32gb ram, ssd. I use HP Reverb G2 hmd. This pc is barely enough to run MSFS in vr, i will upgrade to a better gpu&cpu in the future.
I prefer older style planes like this and AN-2, so Iit is fun to fly. No glass cockpit or autopilot, all instruments must be monitored continuously. I think it is a beautiful little plane but the flight model a bit weird...i don't know why but make a roll is almost impossible. And takeoff/landing is challenging beause of the relative high engine torque. The plane is very sensitive to the wind direction. Anyway, this is one of my favourite plane in MSFS :)
Overall a really well done plane and fantastic to fly but the cockpit isnt that realistic... as i flew in this exact plane they made here i know the cockpit of the real plane is bit different. I have clips of the original plane on my channel who might not believe me. But yeah anyway overall briliant plane and make so much fun and to the exact plane i flew in😆 ru-vid.comRtEoUDDjuSc?feature=share ru-vid.comNk7OPLuxWBs?feature=share
Thanks :) Why was it hard to fly in FSX? According to irl pilots it is easy to fly this plane, because of the big wings, low speed and the powerful engine. It forgives pilot errors they said :)
@@airsheep The Aerosoft AN-2 for FSX was a very hard plane for me to fly. Mostly because of the engine management and the fact that you had to cold start it every time you flew.
Hello, thanks :) You can set the sensitivity of all joystick axes, and a helicopter -like a plane -can be trimmed to neutral in all flying conditions. There are controls to set rotor trim and I use them continuosly. Just like in a plane, if the speed changing you have to correct the heli movement by adjusting the rotor trim.
Nice flying! Were you flying in VR or in 2D mode. Just curious because the recording looks better than what recordings normally look like when using VR.
This is one of my favorite helicopters but using a VKBsim Gladiator I have apparently not quite got it set up with the sensitivities and such just yet near as well as you appear to have!
VBK Gladiator is a good basic joystick. I have a Thrustmaster Watrhog+virpilbase + mfg crosswind pedals, this help me alot when flying a heli. A good pedal is a must.
@@airsheep I wouldn't call the VKB Gladiator a "basic" joystick. Just because it doesn't cost 300 dollars doesnt mean it has low build quality or performs badly. It's a great performing mid tier joystick that punches well above its weight. Something like the Logitech Extreme 3d pro is a "basic" joystick.
@@Serpico360 I agree, this is a good joystick especially for the price. I mean basic because inside mechanism is plastic and it has just a few buttons. But if I had to choose I would go for it for that price.
Did we fly over the FULL HOUSE house? LoL😊 I hope to get the 500 too. Thanks for taking us on a whirlwind tour! Kind of dark tho, sunny days are better!😊
There was a scene in the movie Blue Thunder where the main character did a loop in his helicopter and the other guy chasing him who was flying a MH 6 was shocked at what he saw and said that's impossible.
I remember. As i know there are a few helis in the world which can do a loop (MBB Bo-105 for example ) but im not sure MD500 can do that too. In this game it is possible :)
I WILL buy this 500 one day! I find it not too hard flying the Cab and 407, with the 500, “What could go wrong?” Great video...sounds soooo gooood!😊 Question tho...the helipad “H” was the opposite direction...does it matter?
